Yesterday we celebrated 89 years of a life dedicated to nature and the #CanaryIslands 🎂
Wolfgang Kiessling, Founder and President of the Loro Parque Group, turned 89, and we had the pleasure of sharing this very special day with him.
It was an occasion to celebrate the man whose passion, vision and determination turned a dream in Tenerife into something far bigger. What began in 1972 as a small park dedicated to parrots has grown over more than five decades into an organisation spanning tourism, #research, education and #conservation.

Soil biodiversity represents one of the largest carbon stocks on Earth and plays a major role in fighting #ClimateChange.
But with around a 1/3 of the world’s land already degraded, we need to keep soils healthy.

Great to see this new study published! 🦜🌿
