You’d never do this so soon, be well weird.
Give it a few years and it would work.

I honestly think there’s a case for inviting HP to take a farewell bow before tomorrow’s game. Not that the decision was wrong & it wouldn’t signify that anyway. Just to show how the majority appreciate his big-hearted efforts & wish him well. As I’m sure he does all at #SWFC
Disappointed local journos not picked up on this guy as a bit of a wild card…
I mean, we’ve already got a song sorted anorl…

Dave Challinor's links to the Owls job have been something of a badly kept secret for some time, but the suggestion is that this isn't an open and shut case.
For now, a speculative look at the names likely to be thrown about in the coming days👇

No one’s bigger than the club and whilst he deserves credit for what he endured last season, he should’ve been thanked and moved on in the summer.
Nothing wrong with celebrating the fact that the club has finally made the right decision.

Just someone who can simplify the game, be direct, play with energy and intensity and put the right players in the right positions.

Just driven past the ground and I’m sure I’ve seen white smoke coming out…
Knew something was happening.

Sheffield Wednesday Football Club confirms that Henrik Pedersen has left the club with immediate effect.
Henrik led the first team through an exceptional period in the club's history, providing stability and leadership during a time of significant uncertainty and change.
The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Henrik for his contribution and wishes him every success in the future.
Sporting Director Simon Wilson said: “First and foremost, I want to thank Henrik for his professionalism, commitment and contribution during an exceptionally challenging period for Sheffield Wednesday.
“We knew the start of this season would be difficult due to the scale of change across the club, but our expectation was always that we would develop as the season progressed, establishing a recognisable style of play and greater consistency in our performances.
“Although we have accumulated points, we haven’t seen enough progress in those areas. We believe making a change now gives us the best opportunity to establish those foundations and build towards the second half of the season and beyond.
“We remain ambitious about what we can achieve this campaign, and our focus remains on building a Sheffield Wednesday team with a clear identity, capable of delivering sustained improvement and long-term success.”
Matt Hamshaw will take interim charge of the first team while the club undertakes the process of appointing its next Head Coach.
The club will provide further updates when appropriate.

Out thought and out fought (again).
There has to be a point when you realise you are not the right person for a job. When you’ve given it your best shot, you have recognise that’s not good enough and when to walk away.
A team selection and change of formation that was baffling. To players that clearly don’t understand what system this manager wants to play and their clear dissatisfaction with him, his system and each other.
Why play Morrison, at wingback back, one of our most creative players, a position he’s never played yet you have Fusire who can play there.
I’m not sure what Weaver has done but if Otegbeyo had been picked he would have started in front of Palmer yet Weaver never got on the pitch.
The game: Doncaster played well, deserved the win, harried chased and made sure we couldn’t play. Pretty football and faffing about with the ball in tight spaces is not for this league. Ultimately it’s simple. 1st earn the right, work harder than the other team, get about them. 2nd move the ball quickly with good movement, stop passing sideways and backwards (every season) . We do neither of those things under this manager. We expect teams to let us play. We are easy to read and appear less mobile than other teams.
The players do have some responsibility. Poor execution of passes is a big one. Leaders on the pitch is another. I’m not going to criticise individual players performance it has been collective over a few games. There was a point in the game where players were arguing with each other and Bannan was having a go at Pederson. At that point you know he has to go.
Do Bruce and Wilson have some responsibility here. Yes, What I’m not clear on is who makes the recruitment decisions. Who ultimately says we want this player not this type of player. If you are going to play a system then build the team around that. We’ve gone into this season with no focal point up front, no number 9 hold up player. Why bring 6 loan players in and the difficulty in managing that situation. Also, again, and I’m sure other teams have this, we have lots of injuries. Why. Lots of questions in my head.
Also, Pederson said time again he spent the last part of the previous season talking to League One managers about how best to play in League 1. Either someone’s lied to him or he’s not taken any of that on board.
At the time of writing (Sunday Morning 5am), Pederson is still the manager, I genuinely think in the next 24 hours he won’t be.
We need to start again. Complete coaching rebuild, new ideas to coaching the team, a new way of negotiating this league.
Over to you Mr Storch. This is a big business decision if you want to get us promoted this season. There is only now one decision. Who is the next manager and the quicker they start the better. #wawaw
