Today, I was delighted to join Irish and overseas colleagues as part of the @IBAnews #InternationalWomensDay event.
I am proud to be President of @LawSocIreland at a time when we are celebrating female legal trailblazers, while also working towards greater equality.
Many thanks to Myra Garrett and the @WilliamFryLaw team for their kind hospitality.
In a challenging PII market, we are determined to have every firm insured and able to do business.

On behalf of the solicitors' profession, I want to thank Ireland's healthcare workers, the emergency services personnel and everyone working on the front line to contain COVID-19.
We will continue to support them by following official guidelines on safe working practices.
Happy #WorldMentalHealthDay everyone. Not every day as a solicitor is easy, so make sure to check in with yourself and those around you.

Delighted to spend time with colleagues at the opening of the law term earlier this month. Especially amid #Brexit, solidarity across the professions on this islands is vital.
Immensely proud to read @ROboyle74’s story of courage and determination in this month’s Gazette - and to have stood with him at @DublinPride. People like Rory, and the LGBT+ colleagues who take extraordinary experiences in their stride, are inspiring: lawsociety.ie/gazette/issues
It’s always a pleasure to return home to Cork - especially to @UCC @CrawfordArtGall. This time, I’m joined by my friends and colleagues on the @LawSocIreland Council.

A sight for sore eyes over Blackhall Place. For the first time ever, @LSIPresident Patrick Dorgan and Director-General Ken Murphy will be marching with @OutLaw_Network for #DublinPride on 29 June. #Pride2019
Looking forward to joining @OUTlaw_Network as they represent the profession at #DublinPride this week. The OUTLaw team, and #lgbt lawyers nationwide, are doing inspiring work. #pride2019 #DublinPride2019
Have you signed up to march with us in #DublinPride? Keep an eye on your inboxes over the next couple of days for key event information. We can’t wait for Saturday! #Pride2019 #DublinPride2019 #LGBT
I had the chance to see @ejmoffatt’s work up close at this year’s Brown-Mosten competition. The Law School has benefited so much from her drive, intelligence and dedication to legal education over 19 years. Good luck in the next chapter Jane.
The Phoenix park was looking lovely on my final training cycle for the @CalcuttaRun - roll on 18 May!
It was a pleasure to meet and congratulate so many bright, enthusiastic new colleagues last week. Parchment ceremonies are always a highlight of a @LawSocIreland President’s year.

On the desk this morning! A nice reminder - take some time for yourself this Friday. #workwell19
Hearing about interesting PI #insurance developments at the @LawSociety_NI conference in #Bordeaux.
Congratulations to @DanniLmc on another great success in her second career. It was a pleasure to meet her when @LawSocIreland hosted the launch of Counterparts just before Christmas.

Delighted to represent Irish solicitors at the European Presidents Conference in Vienna’s sumptuous Palais Ferstel.
A great video- there’s no one way to look at ‘Irishness’ in 2019. Thanks to @olamajekodunmi1 for producing it.
It's finally here the 'What does Irishness Look Like?' 😁 I'm so excited to share it with you all! Thanks so much to everyone who helped with it, really appreciate it ❤ The subject matter means a lot to me and many others youtu.be/EqWKR7eq-CQ
Saddened by the passing of @LawSocIreland past President Moya Quinlan. She was a truly remarkable person and will be deeply missed throughout the profession, and wider society. Our thoughts are with her sons, Michael and Brendan, and all of Moya’s family.
I am delighted to be at @NGIreland for the launch of @OUTlaw_Network tonight, joining colleagues to celebrate #LGBT+ diversity across the Legal sector.
