We The People believe in teaching children the truth about our nation’s history. It is despicable for anyone to attempt to whitewash slavery, let alone a state Department of Education. Black history is American history. @WTPMarch
Every Aug 26, we celebrate the accomplishments women have made and commemorate the 19th Amendment. But this year, rather than calling it Equality Day, the League is calling it INEQUALITY Day. We are still planning the program, but add the date and time to your calendar!
Join us and demand of Congress that women not only be represented in our democracy but be included as equals.
Did you know that Alice Paul, a suffragist, proposed the first version of an Equal Rights Amendment in 1923? And, here we are 100 years later and the ERA is still not part of the U.S. Constitution!

🌍🚯 This month is Plastic Free July and we're calling on YOU to join us in our mission to reduce excessive plastic use and pollution.🌱🌎 With over 380 million tons of plastic produced yearly and less than 9% of it ever recycled, our environment is suffocating. 😔
Half of this plastic is made for single-use, perpetuating our addiction to convenience and causing irreversible harm. Plastic particles are now even in our bodies!
We need to work together with our government leaders, businesses, and fellow citizens to change how we think about plastics! #plasticfreejuly Plastic Free Florida

During the last Florida legislative session, laws affecting our Immigrant communities were passed. Many times, the verbage contained in laws is complicated and difficult to understand.
