KGH's maternity ward is where I was born as a premature baby, but it is partially-closed because of RAAC.
After years Tory underfunding today I asked the PM how services like KGH’s maternity ward can be supported. I was pleased to hear the RAAC is being mitigated and replaced.

Today this Labour Government has confirmed that pre-construction work will begin in 2028 to 2030 with construction starting in 2031 to 2032. We will not lead people up the garden path like the last Government and are properly funding this scheme.

This weekend, we were out on the doors in Kettering talking to residents about Labour’s plan to fix our roads.
Potholes are one of the issues that have been brought up to me most, so I was pleased to discuss the extra funding given by this government to fix them. We now need to see North Northants Council use this money properly to get our roads to a better state.
