Fab term working with @RiverTweedNews at Broomlands PS. Pupils enjoyed watching their Trout eggs hatch into alevin which were finally released into the Tweed this week. Pupils developed amazing digital skills as they learned about the wildlife that live in & around the river. – at Kelso, Scotland

The Inchyra Trumpet Brooch, found in the River Tay at Inchyra in #Perthshire, #Scotland in 1992. Such brooches could be worn in pairs linked by a chain and this one has decoration combining #Roman and local influences. Maybe a Roman soldier dropped it as he crossed the river.
