Hi 👋 friendly PSA re: @cryptopunks General Manager @nodefnd - since a lot of questions have come my way about the position: 1. First off, you should apply! It truly is a dream job that changed my life for the better, yes it can be tough and you will need to be tough too - but the opportunity is beyond worth it. I always used to remind myself and the team how we were to work on something that so many people cared so deeply about… 2. Update: I work with @larvalabs now across all their projects (dream job, part 2) so I’m not available nor am I applying. That being said - I can’t wait to support and help whoever gets the role as we’ll certainly be working hand in hand at times on the legacy of Matt & John 🙏 3. On some level I’ll admit…it was hard to move on and let go, but it was time. I suspect this is the type of role that will change hands many times - the collection itself keeps changing, and whoever’s serving the Punks community and project at any given moment needs different approaches and skills. I’m grateful to have joined @nodefnd during the transition of stewardship and the exhibition - and now I truly feel complete with my contribution. 4. Whoever takes on this position should approach the position from a place of reverence and care, not power or control. Punks can / should / will evolve and unfold in ways that the even the creators cannot dictate. This, in fact, is their magic.
