The North Toledo chemical leak involves a 5,500-gallon tank containing glycidyl methacrylate, a flammable industrial chemical. Nearly 1,000 residents were evacuated within a 1-mile radius, while people within 3 miles were ordered to shelter in place.
Hazmat crews have been keeping their distance because of the explosion risk. One sheriff's deputy has reportedly sought medical attention after the incident.
🚨#UPDATE: The Ohio EPA has confirmed the chemical involved in the North Toledo hazardous materials incident is Glycidyl Methacrylate, which is classified as flammable and has a noticeable odor.
According to the Ohio EPA, the release came from a 5,500-gallon tank following an error during the transfer of the material.
The incident at MC Tank Terminal on Progress Avenue remains active, with a potential explosion risk prompting a 1-mile mandatory evacuation zone and a 3-mile shelter-in-place zone.

The leak has released thick plumes of potentially toxic smoke into the surrounding atmosphere Exposure to the chemical may cause respiratory problems, eye irritation, and lung irritation, with reports of symptoms extending beyond the designated evacuation zone. Traffic cameras have captured massive plumes of smoke reportedly visible from approximately six miles away from the incident site. Air quality readings have reportedly reached an extremely hazardous AQI level of 805, raising concerns about potential exposure for residents outside the immediate evacuation area. Residents in surrounding communities are urged to follow emergency instructions and avoid exposure to the smoke as the situation continues to develop.

The current administration has refused to restrain them at any level. They ran off Kent, Massie, and MTG. The launched a war in Iran. The refused to release the E Files.
And then there's Charlie Kirk. He's not around to weigh in on it. The last we heard from him was the night before he died when he stated clearly and emphatically, "I'm left no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause."
By now it should be clear to our decision makers: we will not be able to end this war until we meaningfully restrain Israel. The Israelis have thwarted—& will continue to thwart—any deal we attempt to reach with Tehran.
Israel drove us into this war because we let them. The fundamental issue is this administration’s inability to stop our junior partner from acting like our senior partner.
It’s long past time for our leaders to do just that—lead by restraining the Israelis & end this war now.

This is all true. This former GOP state legislator closely aligned with DeSantis and Randy Fine -- Mike Caruso -- was arrested in August on charges of sexually abusing multiple young kids in his family, including his grandson and a niece.
He had previously advocated the death penalty for pedophiles. This picture is when Caruso, Randy Fine and DeSantis went to Israel in 2023 to sign a "hate speech" law that restricted the free speech rights of Floridians on behalf of Israel. They signed it in Israel.
