Someone should write about the death of children's and teen television. Unlike millennials, Gen Z. does not consume media in a clearly-sanctioned "children's network" such as Disney or Nickelodeon. Kids don't watch that anymore, and those networks have largely stopped producing new episodes of their shows. They get their entertainment on streaming devices, Youtube, and social media, which have virtually no content guardrails. Young children are consuming extremely age inappropriate content with little oversight.
