Our @Lakeside_PS Gr.6’s went on an excursion recently to Duffins Creek Environmental Education Centre @DDSB_OutdoorEd. So great for our students to get outside of the school walls for engagement and learning. #LakesideWellbeing #LakesideEngagement

We found the inspiration for our collaborative art piece from Toronto artist Jacquie Comrie and Canadian Olympic Bobsledder, Cynthia Appiah. Thank you both for sparking our creativity. The students in Room 115 hope you like our work. ❤️ @thecynapps @jacquiecomrie

We are celebrating #BHM by learning about Lincoln Alexander, Viola Desmond & Rosemary Brown - some of the names on our neighbouring @DDSBSchools. We are so proud to live, learn & see examples of Black Excellence represented in our community. #LakesideEquity @TownOfAjax
