Don’t want to put pressure on the kid, but this feels like a great opportunity for #NYR Gabe Perreault to solidify his spot in the top six.

Mark it.
“Ladies and gentlemen, you will not hear a better argument for the President of the United States than those five minutes and twenty-five seconds right here:
Cut it. Mark it. Drop it in.
Are you a Leftist?
Are you a Communist?
Are you a Marxist?
Are you super Right-wing? Doesn’t matter.
You can’t disagree with that. That is the best argument you will ever hear—condensed, distilled, like proof alcohol—into why Charlie Kirk believes in this President.”
Bold Prediction #NYR
Matt Rempe will be 4LW over Edstrom
Lafreniere-Miller-Perreault
Panarin-Zibanejad-Othmann
Cuylle-Trocheck-Berard
Rempe-Carrick-Raddysh
Edstrom/Parssinen
If the season started today these are the lines I feel had the highest upside and puts players in the best positions to succeed:
Lafreniere-Miller-Perreault
Panarin-Zibanejad-Othmann
Cuylle-Trocheck-Berard
Edstrom-Carrick-Raddysh
Gavrikov-Fox
Schneider-Borgen
Soucy-Morrow
#NYR
Brennan Othmann should be on the 2nd line with Panarin to start the season.
Lafreniere-Miller-Mika
Panarin-Trocheck-Othmann
Cuylle-Jusso-Berard
OR
Lafreniere-Miller-Cuylle
Panarin-Mika-Othmann
Berard-Trocheck-Perreault
Give me your New York Ranger take that will have you like this….

I agree that it’ll likely be Trocheck named as Captain of #NYR
Fox and Miller will get the A’s and we’ll see if they continue with the 4 A’s (Panarin and Mika would likely get the other 2)
For me Trocheck is a bridge captain and it showed last season that he has the intangibles for the role. You can’t give it to Lafreniere, he’s still transitioning from “kid punching bag” to a leader, if he can even rebound from last season (I expect him to, 60+ points)
Too early for Cuylle to be named anything, although I think you can make an argument for an A after this year.
Trocheck has been great with the kids, candid with the media without overstepping and plays the game the way this team is expected to play.
My prediction is Vincent Trocheck as captain - because he seems like the player Drury relies on the most
JT Miller and Adam Fox will undoubtedly be here longer than Trocheck but Drury isn’t trying to groom someone into a captain
We have to remember Chris Drury sees the Rangers as a Cup contender and win now team - whether we agree or not
So he is going to pick or let the players pick, the candidate they want regardless of how soon he maybe off the team - if shit hits the fan, Drury and Trocheck will both be gone sooner than later

I’m definitely excited to see this trio develop. I expect Edstrom and Rempe to stay at wing so if you can get 2 of these prospects to solidify the 3C/4C pivots you’ve struck gold.
Terrance is my favorite and can see him carving out a “Dominic Moore” type role in the future.
The #NYR have an intriguing mix of 3 young center prospects, each now at the pro level ...
Here's our breakdown of where Noah Laba, Dylan Roobroeck & Carey Terrance are at what he future holds for each

Ive watched somewhere between 50 min-130 min of tape on the consensus top 30 prospects and was able to narrow my list down to my own Top 20 based on how I think they project at the NHL Level
*Also will talk about how they fit in with NYR

This is such a tough question because I think they’re both going to be very good but in their own roles.
Othmann will be a 50-60 point guy, with PP minutes and likely a 2nd line role once he gets accustomed to the league. Tough to play against, physical but will make some mistakes in his own end.
Berard will be an undervalued 3rd liner. A Callahan like mold, smaller but feisty and tenacious. He’ll be more of a fan favorite and will play up and down the lineup and won’t put up as many points as Othmann, but you’ll notice him more shift in and shift out.
Who is going to be the better pro?
Othmann or Berard

Loved this trade as soon as I saw it. Lindgren and Vesey, thank you for your service but on expiring contracts to get a 2nd and 4th (the biggest assets in this deal) is huge. Likely addition by subtraction/getting ready for next year.
As for Parssinen I’m excited to see what he can do as 3C and push Carrick back down to 4C where he is most comfortable at. Potential, mostly dart throw, but big body with some skill and depth option. Would love to see him and Othmann on a line together.

Even in this team’s downfall, can we just take a moment to appreciate @VallysView and his commentary. No matter how bad this season gets his passion and ability to share a players perspective but explain it so simply that it is easily understood. Love ya Vally.
With the 1.01 had to go with my boy Breece. Likely have to wheel and deal for some improvements but confident with some of the risks. 18 team league @NYRLouie
