@LangTransfer Been using Duolingo for 500 days and made minimal progress. Have made huge strides listening to your Greek course for the past 2 weeks. Very easy to follow.

Some months ago I casually noticed that "casa" (house) just means "case", just like how a "cassette" is a "little case/house". And it has stuck with me!
I look at the animal abodes in the countryside where I live, semi-delapitated sheds and barns. Their houses aren't like ours. Human bodies are more sensitive than most beasts', our physical cases softer, weaker and more exposed. What is a straw to the camel's back is a mountain to ours. And so we need better external cases us humans, warmer more comfortable houses. Even clothes. Cases upon cases.
If all life is the manifestation of a universal consciousness (probably dealing with the problems of solitude and eternity) then it would seem the human spirit wants to experience and feel to the max! We are delicate, vulnerable and fragile, emotionally, psychically and physically. I can't help but think we evolved for a world more civilized than this one, a very long time ago, when our protective case was made more from culture and less so from bricks and morter. When a love, respect, appreciation and general reverence for life governed the collective human consciousness.

Just completed all 120 lessons of Language Transfer's Greek course. It's hands down the best language program I've ever taken. A mind blowing experience. Highly recommended. @LangTransfer

Getting back into my Spanish learning and having another run through of @LangTransfer . Still, this is by far the best explanation of ser and estar I have ever heard. More teachers need to follow this process!

I wish more people understood this:
Cancel culture isn't some new or complex thing. It's just bullying.
Kids bully others for having unfashionable clothes or hairstyles. Adults bully others for having unfashionable opinions. If you see it for what it is, you can act...

Why are @LangTransfer courses so good? Hard f**king work is how. Nearly everyone that approaches me is still asking for the quick cheat I’m keeping to myself - WORK! These are my last two Mac keyboards #languagetransfer
