I'm overdue on updating the fed pivot indicator, and frankly it's showing we have arrived already We are at the point where the fed would usually halt rate hikes and begin easing again As they gear up for 75bp in a couple weeks, they would be knowingly blowing up the system

This post-bubble contraction ticking most of the boxes - - Stocks plunging - US$ rallying - Credit spreads blowing out - Crypto crash underway Commodities' plunge around the corner and subsequently, when Fed hikes sufficiently + economy craters, US Treasuries should rally.

Leadership board: Oil stocks at 52w highs while $BDRY at 52w lows. Many materials + potash stocks caught somewhere in between. $REMX $COPX $KWEB was the first shoe to drop in tech. It's now climbing out of the hole first - bottoming 2 months ahead of $ARKK

I think different parts of the market may be in different stages. High growth has been killed but the wider market hasn’t felt the same relative pain. I don’t think we have seen the “recession” crash but stocks are oversold. In my mind, we could have a rally and crash later.

£SMT was down >50%, can it really go much lower? In ‘00 and ‘08 it dropped by a similar amount. I have been averaging down. @BaillieGifford

Then the same story starts again. The Fed drops rates and starts up the money printer once again.

I am looking to add to long term bonds as I expect these to rally (yields drop) in the next few months. During a major crash, you should expect bonds to rise as stocks fall. I am also holding stocks I have and holding cash. I may trim my stocks if they rally above their highs.
