More on Rome Odunze’s “unreal” third down conversion late last night — a moment of redemption 🙌🏼

Wishing a happy birthday to former Bears QB Mike Tomczak. You weren't the last No. 18 to QB Bears to a 30-24 victory!
Happy Birthday Mike Tomczak
@miketomczak18 hits Gentry and he does the rest scoring the TD with less than 1:00 that gives the Bears a 30-24 win.

After watching tape of Thursday night's 30-24 win over Patriots, Bears HC Ben Johnson discussed Luther Burden III's impact, Cole Kmet's knee injury and more:

Cole Kmet heads to IR after suffering a season-ending knee injury late in Thursday night's win over Patriots.
According to @pfref, Caleb Williams' active streak of 35 straight games with at least 20 attempts and one or fewer interceptions is tied with Aaron Rodgers for longest in NFL history. Previous longest streak by a Bears QB was Jim Miller's 13 in 2001-02.
No Bearigami! Thursday night marked fourth Bears game that has ended with 30-24 score and they've won all four. Previous three were victories over Vikings in 1987, Falcons in 1990 and Eagles in 2011.
Caleb Williams is fifth QB in Bears history to pass for at least 300 yards and post at least a 111.0 passer rating in back-to-back games, joining Sid Luckman (1947), Josh McCown (2013), Brian Hoyer (2016) and Mitchell Trubisky (2018).
If you're a number/stats guy or gal, this is for you. (Or if you just want to keep soaking in the joy of Bears' wild win over Patriots with some fun facts.)

The Bears have been incredibly resilient since Ben Johnson became their coach last year and that was the case again in a wild 30-24 Thursday night win over the Patriots. My game story:

After holding penalty on Zavion Thomas wipes out D'Andre Swift first down run, Rome Odunze makes a sensational catch over middle for 21-yard gain on third-and-9 from Bears' 10.
After allowing a 48-yard TD pass on final play of first half, Bears come out strong on second half, marching 72 yards on nine plays capped by Caleb Williams' 12-yard TD pass to Colston Loveland to widen margin to 27-14. Loveland broke a tackle and powered through three defenders.
Another amazing play by Luther Burden III, who catches a screen pass at NE 28 on third-and-14 from the NE 24 and zigzags into end zone for a TD that puts Bears ahead 20-7 with :14 left in half. Excellent blocks by Kalif Raymond and Colston Loveland.
Caleb Williams hits Luther Burden for 22-yard gain and Patriots are called for roughing the passer, giving Bears a first down at NE 33. Love watching Burden with ball in his hands. I'm guessing he was amazing playing tag at recess when he was a kid.
Bears defense bends but does not break as Patriots advance from their own 32 to Chicago 15 before Drake Maye is intercepted in end zone by Devin Bush.
