Who was the "Charlie Brown" of Greek North American migration? It was a privilege to share a microhistory of Mr. Konstantinos Apostolakos (Τσαρλυ Μπράουν) and discuss the intricate labour networks of the diaspora at the Modern Greek Studies Symposium in Chicago.
Honored to present at the PanLaconian Federation of Canada & US 78th Annual Convention!
Spoke on Konstantinos Apostolakos ("Charlie Brown"), a key figure in Toronto's Greek-Canadian diasporic elite & Laconian history.
Thanks to the organizers!

At the end of each interview for his project, ‘Childhood Memories of Greek Canadians from the 1940s,’ @Lask_angelo asks an important question to all participants: If you could describe the 1940s in one word, what would that be?
