The filibuster boils down to this: itโ€™s a lazy politicianโ€™s dream tool for pretending to fight while actually dodging responsibility, all while keeping their cushy jobs safe. Hereโ€™s how it benefits the bums in the Senate: 1. Obstruction without accountability A senator can kill a bill by threatening a filibuster (or just talking forever) without ever casting a public vote. No record, no blame. They can tell their base, โ€œI fought for you!โ€ while secretly letting the bill die to appease donors or avoid a tough decision. 2. Protects do-nothing incumbents The filibuster makes gridlock the default. When nothing gets passed, voters blame โ€œWashingtonโ€ or โ€œthe other party,โ€ not the specific senators who blocked everything. Incumbents coast to re-election by fundraising off the chaos they helped create. 3. Forces minority rule, which rewards extremism 41 senators (representing as little as ~11% of the population) can halt anything. This empowers fringe voices who fundraise by being loud, not effective. The โ€œbumโ€ who screams on cable news gets more donations than the one quietly negotiating. 4. Turns legislation into a hostage crisis To pass anything, you need 60 votes or a convoluted workaround (like budget reconciliation). This gives every random senator leverage to demand pork, favors, or policy carve-outs. The more ineffective you are at governing, the more power you wield in the chaos. 5. Keeps the gravy train rolling Gridlock = endless campaign fodder. โ€œIf you elect more of us, weโ€™ll finally fix things!โ€ Meanwhile, senators rake in donations from lobbyists who love inaction (e.g., industries dodging regulation). The filibuster ensures the status quoโ€”and their paychecksโ€”stay safe. In short: The filibuster isnโ€™t about principle or โ€œdeliberation.โ€ Itโ€™s a devious shield for senators to look busy, avoid hard votes, and cling to power while the country stagnates. The biggest winners? The ones whoโ€™d be voted out if they ever had to actually govern.

This guy is a disgraceful liar.
First, they offer no evidence to try to block 20,000 ballots from being counted. Now, the Trump Administration is threatening California election officials with criminal investigations without any legal basis. The Constitution gives states the authority to administer elections โ€” not Donald Trump. California wonโ€™t be bullied, and every eligible voter has the right to vote and have their vote counted.

Click Bait.
I recently heard this story. Thoughts? โ€œI tipped $7 on a $120 takeout order. The cashier looked at the screen, then looked directly at me. โ€œOnly $7?โ€ I thought she was joking. โ€œYes, $7.โ€ She called her manager over. He looked at me and said, โ€œIf you can afford to spend $120 on food, you can afford to leave a 20% tip.โ€ I calmly replied, โ€œI thought tipping was optional.โ€ He said, โ€œThen we have the right to refuse you service.โ€ There were people standing behind me, listening to the entire conversation. Suddenly, I felt like I was being publicly shamed for not giving enough money. So I made a decision. I cancelled the entire $120 order, asked for my money back, and walked out. I had no problem leaving a tip. I had a problem with being told how much I was morally obligated to give, especially when I was picking up takeout rather than receiving full table service. A tip is supposed to be a gesture of appreciation, not a payment demanded through guilt or public humiliation. If businesses believe workers deserve better pay, shouldn't that responsibility fall primarily on the employer rather than the customer? But now I'm curiousโ€ฆ Was cancelling the entire order justified, or was a $7 tip on an $120 takeout order actually cheap? I want to hear both sides.โ€

The State of California has been controlled by the Democratic Party for over 25 years. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ
This is your reminder that California turned a $33 billion bullet train project into a $231 billion open ended hole with no working track after 25 years. They never selected a company to make the trains, ran a $7 billion shortfall on the first segment, missed 9 federal grant conditions, And then Newsom blamed Trump for it.

This is an in kind political contribution to the Democratic Party by CNN (free airtime to spread their lies). Itโ€™s 100% a political fabrication.
๐Ÿšจ CNN IS IN FULL COPE MODE Theyโ€™re running wall-to-wall coverage about how โ€œterribleโ€ conditions are on the USS Abraham Lincolnโ€ฆ food shortages, hygiene issues, sailors supposedly jumping overboard. Then Trump says a retired admiral and people actually on the ship told him itโ€™s โ€œbeautifully maintainedโ€ and calls the reporting fake news. Cue the dramatic music and concerned anchors. CNNโ€™s formula never changes: - Push a bleak narrative - Platform anonymous โ€œconcernsโ€ - Act shocked when the President doesnโ€™t play along Nine months at sea is tough. Pretending the entire ship is falling apart because Trump wonโ€™t validate your story is just another day at CNN.

Every Republican politician in Sacramento who isnโ€™t screaming about this new tire scam should be primaried and run out of town. The roads and politicians need to be replaced. Not our tires.

So Democrats feel the need to apologize for someone supposedly โ€œstealingโ€ other peopleโ€™s property hundreds of years ago, but their entire platform today is based on stealing other peopleโ€™s property.

Here are four things every serious anti-communist should understand about Marxism: First, Marxism is not primarily a set of economic policies. It is a complete philosophical system built on the claim that private property and markets are the root causes of human oppression and alienation. This is why communist regimes did not simply make economic mistakes - they systematically tried to abolish the foundations of voluntary cooperation. Second, Marxism focuses heavily on social structures and class forces while leaving very little room for individual choice and moral responsibility. Individuals are treated largely as products of their class position rather than as autonomous agents capable of shaping their own lives. This deterministic outlook underpins both Marxismโ€™s repeated predictive failures and its readiness to justify coercive social engineering. Third, the authoritarianism, terror, and centralised control seen in every communist state were not distortions of Marxism. They were logical consequences of attempting to impose a total transformation of society (and Mark understood that). Once private property and markets are rejected, coercive state power becomes necessary to enforce the new order. Fourth, Marxism has never died. It has mutated. Much of todayโ€™s identity politics, critical theory, and institutional โ€œequityโ€ activism draws directly from Marxist frameworks - simply replacing economic class with race, gender or other identity categories while retaining the same oppressor-versus-oppressed logic.

This Day (May 10) in 1994, Yasser Arafat admitted the โ€œpeace processโ€ was a farce. Just months after shaking Yitzhak Rabinโ€™s hand on the White House lawn, Arafat stood in a mosque in Johannesburg & told the truth โ€” in Arabic, to a Muslim audience, when he thought the West wasnโ€™t listening. He openly declared the Oslo โ€œpeaceโ€ agreement was nothing more than a โ€œtactical stepโ€ โ€” a temporary truce, exactly like the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah that Muhammad used before conquering Mecca. He then called for โ€œjihad to liberate Jerusalem.โ€ This was not a slip of the tongue. This was the real Arafat when speaking in Arabic to a non-Western audience. From the moment he founded Fatah in the late 1950s, Arafat was a terrorist and a liar. His career was built on murder: plane hijackings, embassy sieges, the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics, the Coastal Road massacre, the Achille Lauro hijacking, school bus bombings, and endless suicide attacks. The world desperately wanted to believe that giving him legitimacy, billions in aid, weapons, and territory would turn him into a statesman. Instead, it simply gave one of the 20th centuryโ€™s most prolific terrorists a sovereign base, international respectability, and vast sums of money to enrich himself and his cronies. While Arafat played the peacemaker in English, he continued inciting, funding, and glorifying terror in Arabic. He rejected Ehud Barakโ€™s offer of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital at Camp David in 2000 โ€” then launched the Second Intifada, the bloodiest terror war Israel had ever seen. He was never interested in building a state. He was only interested in destroying the Jewish one โ€” by terror, diplomacy, lying to/ideologically capturing the West, demographics, whatever worked. Arafat died a billionaire while his people remained in poverty, their suffering weaponized as propaganda. He was a cold-blooded murderer, a pathological liar, and a world-class kleptocrat to the very end. The Johannesburg speech was the real Yasser Arafat, and the West just kept looking the other way.
