On Saturday I signed the No Expressway Group's petition to the Government asking for plans for the incredibly damaging Oxford-Cambridge Expressway to be scrapped. During the General Election campaign the Government announced a review of the plans but there have been no

Today I attended the Better South Oxfordshire emergency meeting to discuss the local plan. Fantastic turn out of over a hundred people. Sue Cooper the Lib Dem leader of SODC explained very clearly why there is a democratic mandate to look again at the plan. #localplan

In this general election, the Liberal Democrats' vote share went up by 4%, and we ended up with one less MP.
The Tories had a 1% increase in support, and got a majority of 80.
Our electoral system is broken.
I would like to thank the over 18,000 people in the Henley constituency who invested their trust in me and voted Liberal Democrats yesterday
