Advice to all Canadians meeting their new Doctor for the first time., go into that meeting understanding two things: 1) That person will be involved and control your future 2) You have every right to advocate for yourself or your family member, and without being rude, you can grill them with questions and validate their credibility to your standards and levels of trust If they get defensive that could mean two situations 1) They are legit, but now feel like you may be profiling them or being bigoted or something along those lines. 1) a) You deal with that situation by laying out the facts, that Canada ranks #2 in countries that employ professionals who are frauds and liars, and aren't at all who they've claimed to be. A legit professional will respect that, and understand your point of view. Good to go from that point on, but never fully drop your shield. 2) You've shaken their credibility and they are now worried about something... most of them will make it very obvious you've hit on something, and now is when you press. Go to your taken back stance, and then attack. Whatever you asked or said that shook them, either let it fester, or if you can lay a foundation to justify full court press, do it. You'll obviously be asked to leave once you've hit a devastating blow annd depending on the type of office or hospital setting you are in, you may now begin yout "make a scene and demand to speak to the top person followed up by notice that if no one wants to talk to you, you are going to the CPSO and may post whats happening to your large social media following and every review site there is. If they start trying to offer you options or try to make you change your mind, know that if you let this go, they will just close u shop and go soehwere else. Never forget that fraud and scams are literally part of their DNA being caught as a scammer and fraud is worse then committing a violent act. Be prepared to stand your ground. They may threaten to call the cops. If tjhey try that, call them first to report an attempted sexual violation by a medical professional who appears to be a fraud. Its even worse if the person was going to assess your kid(s) Anyways, know that even it doesn't go your way. Say cops come and now you're in an ethnic enclave situation, where the cop looks the same as the "doctor", as soon as you sense you may be facing a corrupt ethnic and racist cop, you grab your stuff your kids and leave. Oh, and you had better of caught all of that on your phone. Do not try and reason with the cop if he's not on your side. You don't beat the pungent blue mafia, ever.
