If animals ran the world, war would not exist. Human egos make us feel superior. But our actions and inactions loudly declare the opposite. But then there are exceptional human beings like Jesse Adams, killed in Ukraine this wk, while rescuing animals. RIP

Jesse Adams was murdered by the Russian terrorists with an FPV drone on Oct 25 while evacuating animals near the frontline in Kramatorsk, Ukraine. He first came from Canada in April 2022 to save animals. Musk wants you to have sympathy for his killers. What a corrupt world.

That night, a caretaker named Andre Bauma held her against his bare chest to keep her warm, beginning a bond that would last until her final moments, 14 years later. He had held her close when she was a helpless baby, watched her grow, and stayed beside her until the very end

Last week I was asked if we could take 2 golden retrievers who had been surrendered. As soon as I saw the video of them looking frail, broken and unwell I agreed. 2 very kind ladies fought for their freedom and drove the dogs to meet our team today. The story is complicated and I won’t go into it here. What I can share is that a third sibling died. Although these 2 dogs look ok at first glance there are so many problems. Their fluffiness is covering some very malnourished and unhealthy dogs. Despite that their tails won’t stop wagging. The ladies who saved them named them Bonnie and Clyde. The perfect names for 2 dogs on the run from their past and hoping to start a new life with us. There are a lot more questions than answers right now for these 2. What I do know is that we will try our very best to save them, build them back up and make better lives for them. Bonnie and Clyde have had some early treatments and are sleeping beside each other in the hospital. Let’s see what we can do 🤞❤️

This is Skye. He was lured out of Kruger National Park in South Africa a few weeks ago and illegally killed by JARED WHITWORTH from Kentucky during a safari hunt. Skye’s life was worth more than the amusement of a hunter. It’s time to #BanTrophyHunting once and for all!

53 orangutans have now been rescued from forests devastated by fires in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the scale of destruction is horrifying. More than 48,500 hectares have burned this year. Orangutans are being found starving, injured and desperately searching for food in forests that have been destroyed. These are critically endangered animals losing the very habitat they depend on to survive. How much wildlife must suffer before protecting forests becomes a priority rather than an afterthought?

I was driving into La Conner this morning, just outside of town, where the first trumpeters of the autumn season arrived. These birds are amazing. We literally had a National Geographic moment with heavy snowfall earlier in February of this year. #wawx #pnw #nature @MimiRitZ244

Kebakaran hutan juga terjadi di Gunung Ciremai, Jawa Barat. Mungkin nanti kalau udah sampai Hambalang baru Prabowo tetapkan jadi Bencana Nasional.

US energy company execs have resigned in disgust as the Trump family is caught secretly expediting the funneling of $25 billion from a sanctioned Russian energy giant in exchange for allowing Russians to obtain a natural gas project in Alaska. According to investigations by The New York Times and Financial Times, Russia's Novatek allegedly concealed its financial involvement in the American project through a UAE-linked intermediary. Gentry Beach, a longtime Trump ally and close friend of Donald Trump Jr., signed an agreement with Novatek to pursue natural gas development in Alaska. Reuters documented the arrangement in February. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin discussed this cooperation on the Alaska energy project with Trump's representatives, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, during negotiations involving Russia and Ukraine. The controversy deepened when Polar Train LNG's CEO, Joel Riddle, raised concerns about concealed Russian financing and possible sanctions violations. He departed in September, followed by other senior executives. The Financial Times also described discussions about a potential arrangement under which Novatek would provide technology for the Alaska project in exchange for sanctions relief benefiting its Arctic LNG 2 development in Siberia. According to The New York Times, Riddle and two other departing executives warned the Trump administration about the Russian financing and urged officials to investigate. The White House maintains that the project was mentioned only briefly and that no detailed discussions took place. There is no established evidence that Kushner or Witkoff knew about the allegedly concealed financing. Polar Train LNG denies wrongdoing. The central question is how a sanctioned Russian energy company became involved in a major American energy venture while Putin was discussing potential economic cooperation with Trump's representatives and a longtime Trump family associate was pursuing a separate agreement with the same Russian company. Selling Alaska to the Russians or selling Ukraine to the Russians - to the Trump family it's all the same. ft.com/content/e9cfbfbb-e65a…

People think that animals are “looked after” on farms. 🥺 But as @JohnOberg explains, this is about as far from the truth as possible. 😣 Can you “look after” someone, whilst raising them to be killed for food (that people don’t even need)? 🤔 Living #vegan is truly the best way to look after animals. Don’t you agree? 🧡 Credits: summerjayne260 (IG) | taranakianimalsave (IG) | DM for other credits #cow #animalrights #veganctivist
