Just a suggestion for @LothianCountry - as RBS Gogarburn is a disaster area, perhaps temporarily use the stop on the A8 directly outside, rather than add 10 minutes to the journey?

Hi @Edinburgh_CC . A vehicle has hit the bollards and destroyed the Belisha beacon outside the EXIT of the Zoo. We have moved the beacon from the carriageway and placed it in the centre lane but it will need removed and repaired

Does "accountability" mean facing up to the lies you told?
#VoiceOpinion Our anger over Jason Arday’s death is not enough What happened to the former Cambridge academic cannot be allowed to become another tragedy that our community mourns before moving argues @richardsudan. His death must inspire action, accountability and lasting change 👇🏾 ➡️voice-online.co.uk/opinion/c…

It's only "unworkable" because they refuse to comply and handmaidens like this cheer them on
Today I met with our trans, non-binary and gender diverse members. So many members have written to us explaining that the updated EHRC guidance is unworkable. I will work with our trans non-binary and gender diverse members to change the law for legal gender recognition.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
UK SC unanimously ruled on 16.04.2025 that “sex” “woman” and “man” in the Equality Act 2010 mean biological sex. Trans identified people have not lost rights, they remain protected separately by the Act's gender reassignment provisions and other discrimination protections. commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-brief…

This clown doesn't appear to know that the methodology for turning UK data into Scotland data is 100% owned by the Scottish Government statisticians. And accredited by the Scottish Government.
Who gives the Scottish Government the figures to publish?

Ties are an anachronism. They serve no useful purpose, make you excessively warm and uncomfortable and 97% of people can't tie a decent knot of get the length right. An open necked collared shirt is equally smart

MP who routinely turns off replies comments about "meaningful debate". On the other hand, if all ministers and government departments leave X the place will be immeasurably improved
I've decided to leave this platform and my Department will too. A platform originally designed for free speech and expression now favours abuse and misinformation over meaningful debate. It isn't healthy for our democracy or our communities and I don’t want to support it.

Clot doesn't realise that the question was whether the UK should stay in the EU, not Scotland. Also that a decision to leave the UK would lead to a minimum 10 year accession process
✍️ I have tabled EDM 378, recognising that Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU and that Brexit has damaged our economy, security and international standing. Scotland’s future should be decided by the people who live here!

As you SHOULD know Workplace regulations require single sex changing facilities and that toilets are either single sex or fully compliant Unisex. It's clear that to comply with Equalities legislation, employers should follow the guidance to avoid breach.
Today, @AndreaEganGS has written to @EHRC Chair Dr Mary-Ann Stephenson challenging their statement, giving examples from our members where employers are withdrawing trans inclusive policies and using the code of practice guidance as the reason. Read: unsn.uk/4opISUk

By "could previously access" she means, of course "decided we would use facilities we weren't supposed to and defied anyone to stop us"
Today my heart is with our trans community, treated so abysmally in this country. Draft guidance means trans people are barred from services they could previously access & inclusive service providers will be at legal risk. Green Party statement: greenparty.org.uk/2026/05/22…

God, please stop. It wasn't offside under the Laws that have been in place for about 20 years. Plenty of other reasons for complaint, but not that one.
Without VAR that incorrect offside decision stands and the club formed by Irish immigrants lose the title. That's why the usual suspects want to return to the good old days of honest mistakes. @ACSOMPOD @Alan_Morrison67 @bellacaledonia @BobSmithWalker

Hey @ScottishFA As I recall the laws of the game, play must be restarted after a goal from open play. And your own guidance is that if a game cannot be completed because of a pitch invasion, the referee must suspend or abandon the game. Neither of these happened at Celtic Park today - and we also had players assaulted. What are you planning to do about this.

If it's true that the pitch invaders were assaulting Hearts players, then a 10 point penalty is required

I see the Greens remain in full on "steal everything people work hard for and give it to lazy shits" mode
Any political project that intends to defeat Reform must have at its core: 1. Redistribution of the wealth in this country via a fairer tax system, inc wealth tax 2. Redistribution of power via a fairer electoral system at the very least. Is this on offer in Labour contest?
