Between March and September 2025, a North-Korean M1974 Tok'chon appeared at the Cuban Armored Division 1011's base in Managua, La Habana. It is stood next to an M48 Patton once donated to Castro by Vietnam. I'm curious how and when this artillery piece ended up in Cuba
A Canadian-made Inkas Sentry Tactical Armored Vehicle of the Barbados Police Service in Eagle Hall, Bridgetown. A single vehicle was received in December 2024
Another rare IMV was recently captured from Yemeni forces by the Houthis; a UAE-made TAG BATT-T (last picture for reference). A batch of these Toyota Land Cruiser 200-based vehicles was produced already by 2015 in the UAE
Armored pickups are getting so popular that even Streit Cougar IMVs have been redesigned into this role. The Houthis recently captured at least 4 from Yemeni forces. As far as I know, the variant is unique to Yemen and perhaps developed locally
On 27 July 2026, the UAE donated 13 Inkas Titan-V and 7 Titan-DS armored vehicles to Gabon. All 20 were also seen in the Independence Day Anniversary Parade on 17 August, flying small Gabonese and Emirati flags. They were not the only new vehicles seen in the parade (1/3)
Also seen were 4 UAE-made MEVA Maqaba Toyota-based IMVs. Gabon is the second user of this vehicle type in Africa, the only other being Mozambique. I am not aware of earlier sightings of the Maqaba in Gabon (2/3)
UAE-made Streit Spartan SUT seen in the latest Anniversary Day Parade (rehearsals) in Ivory Coast. They are operated by the BAE (anti-riot police). The Spartan has been in service since about 2019, but the SUT delivery appears to be more recent

At its Independence Day Anniversary Parade on 1 July 2026, the Burundi Army showcased 3 Brazilian-made EE-11 Urutu APCs for the very first time. Their configuration (M7) suggests these were originally used by Dubai and supplied to Burundi second-hand by the United Arab Emirates
Since the first half of 2026, the GNU-aligned 111 Brigade in Libya has been seen operating UAE-made Secure Armoured Vehicles Waden 4x4 V1. At least 5 were delivered. Various companies from the UAE are now supplying armored vehicles to both the GNU and the LAAF
A Russian-made RIDA Buran APC10, seen with the Libyan Arab Armed Forces (LAAF, formerly LNA) during the May 2025 parade
OTT Puma M36 of the Ghana Army, operated by the 153 Armoured Regiment based at Gondar Barracks, Burma Camp, Accra. Announced at the end of 2024, 14 of these MRAPs were donated by the USA in May 2025
My latest article, a look into the Emirati-Ukrainian Streit KrAZ Shrek MRAP, including its use in Ukraine and in various Western African states. About 50 were made in total

The Shrek (Ukr. Шрек) was birthed from the cooperation between the Ukrainian company AvtoKrAZ and the elusive Canadian-Emirati company Streit Group.
On 26 March 2025, the Curaçao Police Corps announced the purchase of 2 Canadian Inkas Hudson APCs. These have been taken into service with the riot police unit (unidat di Riot / Mobiele Eenheid) on 12 January 2026, representing the first armored assets of the Corps
The Emirati-made Magnify Armor APC, a little-known Toyota-based armored vehicle of which about 10 were sold to Indonesian UN peacekeeping forces in Lebanon in 2024. The design has particular similarities with the Emirati Streit Cougar, Inkas LLC Titan-S and Canadian Inkas Hudson
HMAV APC of Egyptian security forces under the Ministry of Interior. An unknown number was delivered by 2018. This design by STI-Steyr has been produced in the UAE by Ultimate Armour Works FZC (affiliated to DAW Automobile Assembly FZCO). It's also used by Burkina Faso and Ghana
The Nigerian Zamfara State Government announced the delivery of 10 Nigerian-made Epail EP2063NG01 (licensed copy of the Chinse CSK-141), and from the UAE 13 Inkas LLC Titan-S, 1 Titan-S 6x6, and 1 Titan-V, totalling 25 vehicles.
