Statement📢 The #LEARNproject consortium has decided to leave the X platform and fully focus its efforts on LinkedIn, which provides a more enriching environment for science dissemination and bigger opportunities for stakeholder engagement. Follow us on linkedin.com/company/learn-p…
🎬 The #LEARNproject is carrying out cohorts at European #schools to analyse exposure to #airpollutants, their effects on children's health and cognition, and the impact of #filtration technologies.
Discover how they work in our new video below!
Happy #EuropeDay 🇪🇺 Discover the key role of #EUfunding in supporting R&I initiatives with high societal impact, like the #LEARNproject. Access the full interview with our coordinator from @INLnano at 🔗learnproject-heu.eu/intervie…

📑 Researchers from @INLnano have reported, for the 1st time, that the excitation of optical anapoles states can be achieved at the UV-A wavelength range. This means a step forward towards the development of novel sensors in the #LEARNproject. learnproject-heu.eu/optical-…
📍 We were honoured to host the Annual Meeting of the @IDEAL_CLUSTER for Indoor #AirQuality and Health at the headquarters of our coordinator @INLnano in Portugal. Read all the details in the article below! learnproject-heu.eu/learn-pr… #idealcluster #airpollution #horizoneurope
💻 We recently participated in the latest webinar of @ediaqi_project, where our partner MANN+HUMMEL presented how they are optimising #filtration and adsorption technologies for the schools participating in the #LEARNproject cohorts: learnproject-heu.eu/learn-pr… #airquality

Nearly all of the projects in the @IDEAL_CLUSTER are working with #sensors as an #IndoorAirQuality monitoring tool🧐
👉In the working group 5 session, we have heard about a number of (low-cost) #sensors for measurements of #VOCs, ultra-fine particles, #PM10 etc. to assess #IAQ
Last but not least, Ana Ribeiro (@INLnano) has just presented the @IDEAL_CLUSTER progress regarding #invitro models, as well as the skin-on-a-chip and multi-sensing approaches for #airpollutants developed in the #LEARNproject. Stay tuned to our communication channels for more 👍
Our coordinator Ernesto Alfaro-Moreno (@INLnano) has just presented the preliminary results from the #LEARNproject cohorts at schools in Belgium, where we measured the state of indoor #airquality and its impact on children's health and cognition. Stay tuned for our final results!
🎲Our sister projects from the @IDEAL_CLUSTER are testing the #LEARNproject indoor air quality board game in Portugal and exploring potential collaborations with us to use it in their dissemination activities at European #schools.

Following up with the @IDEAL_CLUSTER Annual Meeting, our partners @TUeindhoven and @INLnano have just presented the #LEARNproject progress in developing sensors to better detect ultrafine particles (#UFPs) and volatile organic compounds (#VOCs) in indoor environments.
Yesterday, our partners @FIGroupES and @VUBrussel presented the #LEARNproject strategy regarding the digital contents and #boardgame, and led a discussion on how to join efforts in the @IDEAL_CLUSTER to communicate the amazing work being carried out by the different projects.
📍We are in the @IDEAL_CLUSTER Annual Meeting, hosted by our coordinator @INLnano in Braga, Portugal. Ernesto Alfaro-Moreno has just presented the progress of the #LEARNproject to our sister projects. Stay tuned for more👍
"In the #LEARNproject, we are developing affordable VOC & UFP sensors that can also allow us to optimise the functioning of the #airpurifier in real-time, according to the detected levels of specific pollutants." - Andreas Scope (MANN+HUMMEL).
"When developing air filtration solutions for schools, it has been a challenge to find a balance between best performance and cost affordability and energy efficiency. But even affordable filters, combined with good ventilation, can make a big difference." A. Scope (MANN+HUMMEL)
Hello, @lion_peacock. Thank you for following our webinar with @ediaqi_project! It is being recorded and will soon be available in the Events section of our website: learnproject-heu.eu/events/
Andreas Scope's (MANN+HUMMEL) presentation starts by explaining the #health risks of #airpollutants. The smaller the size of the particle, the easier it is to pass through our respiratory system.
