This is so awful. All the issues that the Governor brought up in the book directly impact the way inequities in the school systems are addressed. That is super concerning. – at Santa Clara, CA
Trumped up culture wars just knocked Alabama off its Early Childhood Education pedestal and set it back decades. ⁦⁦@barbarajeancoop⁩ has had a lifetime of relentless public service on behalf of Alabama’s children. This is simply unconscionable. montgomeryadvertiser.com/sto…

I find it strange that when research is done on early education setting that Family Childcare homes are not brought into the mix. We provide care and education in a small group setting that has been said to be beneficial. #Teachers #teachersoftwitter #EducationForAll #ece – at Rosamond, CA
The fact that we are not hearing more about the striking of Childcare funding from the national budget is very very concerning. What will we do if there isn't Childcare Educators? #California #nationalfunding #daycare #parents #teachersoftwitter – at Washington, DC

Reporters: if you write a story and use the term “daycare,” or refer to early childhood educators as “workers,” I may tweet it, but WILL edit you.

I saw it after I replied! Sorry! – at Washington, DC
Early education is 0-8. There is a lot of learning that takes place between the ages of 0-3. And when parents have to work infant and toddler TEACHERS are the ones helping the child with learning those things. – at Washington, DC

The problem is that most people do not understand everything that goes into working with ages 0-5. They think we play all day and that it's an easy job. That it's a stepping stone. This is an important career field that deserves respect. We care for and educate your children. – at Washington, DC

Advocacy is the type work that takes time and effort but when we get together to advocate for ourselves and others we can make a true and lasting difference. @communitychange @ChildcareChange #earlychildhood #Parents #California #EducationForAll – at Washington, DC
We demand our state leaders stabilize and protect early educators - there is no other alternative plan. Thousands of unionized child care providers will continue to organize to be heard and protected. Via @CalMatters. #ChildCareForAll calmatters.org/children-and-…

I'm trying to understand how an idea to bring high quality education to all children has become reduced to it only being delivered on public school campuses. #education #teachertwitter #earlyed #edutwitter #BuildBackBetterAct #California #children #parenting – at Rosamond, CA
Small class sizes, potty training, learning through play, social emotional education and family engagement in the learning process all look totally different at the 0-4 age range. Education is not a one size fits all and should always have various ways of delivery. – at Rosamond, CA

If you want to help parents and children receive high quality care and education include the educators who have been working in the field and UNDERSTAND what young children and their families need. Do not take their choice of how their children are educated away. @First5CA – at Rosamond, CA

Pre-k doesn't have to be delivered on. School campus in order for it to be effective. Why is a mixed delivery system that includes the experience and education of ALL early educators not being taken seriously? @childcarelaw @CalEarlyEdu – at Rosamond, CA
