What are the dumbest school building design features you have personally witnessed? Here are my top three:
1. Not just open plan classrooms, but open plan purpose-built science labs: so rooms designed for practical work only that were completely open, with a corridor running through them
2. A huge conservatory as a school atrium: freezing in the winter, and completely un-enterable in summer as it clocked way over 40⁰
3. A science corridor built to look like a "street", complete with cobbled stones. The technicians had real fun wheeling the trolleys with hydrochloric acid down it...
