Grew up a few minutes from Cherrywood Road and my first experiences of live football were watching Alan Taylor’s Boro team, lots of good memories, RIP.
Hopefully there’s enough push back on these proposals for them to ever get close to being implemented. Grim, elitist nonsense!
FA's new Women's FA Cup proposals incl omitting Tier 7 clubs, seeding + no draw after last 32. Clubs claim “drawbridge” pulled on lower tiers. “FA Cup isn't broken for 99% of clubs. Interests of few should never override lifeblood of game.” @TheAthleticFC

Watched Corinthians vs Gotham FC in the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup. The fact that both teams are only in pre-season didn’t make for the best game but credit to Corinthians for taking their chance!
Has been an issue at the club for a while now. Even in the 23/24 promotion season we conceded 63 goals in the 46 regular season games.
Southampton have conceded the joint second most goals in the @SkyBetChamp (40). Only bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday have conceded more (52). Porous. #SaintsFC
A little reality check for Saints, even a draw would’ve been a robbery. Millwall’s press was so effective for the most part and Emakhu and Azeez ran us ragged in the wide areas.
Felt like we didn’t really have the ability to change anything today or switch it up.

Not surprised by this, one of the most well coached teams I’ve seen this season. Will be interesting to see how he gets on at a higher level and what direction @waltonhershamfc go in to try and sustain their title push

Was at Palace vs AZ last night, first time seeing Kees Smit live. Ridiculous level of technical ability and vision. Always actively looking to get on the ball even when AZ were struggling.
Will be interesting to see where he goes when he decides to make a move.
Managed to get myself across to ‘De Kraker’ fixture in Rotterdam between Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven
Everything @MrDavidConnolly has said about De Kuip rang true, iconic stadium with incredible fans
Was a shame the home side side couldn’t take any points, PSV clinical
Although he has the occasional mistake in him, this shows how important Quarshie has been and he’ll only get better with experience. We need to keep playing him

Was great to finally experience a matchday at Dortmund, on a Champions League night no less. Great travelling support from Athletic Bilbao too.
