It’s so tiring and so coercive when people make a comment then immediately block so it looks like the other doesn’t have the answer, so here it is. The truth according to whom? And does having ‘truth’ make one so superior they can act in debased ways without consequence?
they only stated the truth

When I was Muslim, I used to ask Christians: “If Jesus was really God, why did He eat, sleep, and bleed like us?” And honestly, I used to ask it with pride like it was some unbeatable argument. But later I realized something: That question was not exposing Christianity. It was exposing my misunderstanding of what kind of God Jesus claimed to be. Because the real question is not: “Why would God become weak?” The real question is: “What kind of God would willingly step into human suffering at all?” Islam taught me about a God who was distant and untouchable. But Christianity introduced me to a God who stepped into hunger, exhaustion, grief, pain, betrayal, blood, and suffering with us. And suddenly His humanity stopped feeling like weakness to me. It became proof of love. If Jesus ate, it means He came close enough to experience hunger beside us. If He slept, it means He embraced the exhaustion we carry. If He bled, it means He did not stand above suffering watching us from a distance. He entered it Himself. Philippians 2 says Christ emptied Himself and took on flesh. Not because He stopped being God, but because He wanted humanity to finally see what God is actually like. And it turns out God is willing to suffer for the people He loves. That changed everything for me. Because every other religion demanded sacrifice from humanity. Jesus became the sacrifice Himself. And no prophet in history ever claimed that.

Football should bring people together, not shut them out. For the first time since the competition began, fans won’t be able to watch the Champions League final for free. That’s not right. This is bigger than wanting to watch Arsenal in this historic final. It’s bigger than one club. Hardworking people shouldn’t have to fork out for a subscription to watch this match. I urge TNT Sports to reconsider and make the final next Saturday free to watch.

Why is @SkyNews only covering English council elections. NO mention, no graphics, nothing of the elections in Scotland and Wales. Absolutely appalling.

MAGA calls Europe freeloaders. Here’s what they’re not telling you. 1. Ramstein Air Base, the most important US military hub outside America, is built on German land provided rent-free, with Germany contributing hundreds of millions to its upkeep. The US couldn’t replace it anywhere in the world. 2. Every US military operation in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia flows through Ramstein. Lose it and US power projection in the Eastern Hemisphere is crippled. 3. The UK provides and maintains RAF Lakenheath used almost entirely by the US Air Force. Italy provides Aviano. Greece provides Souda Bay. Turkey provides Incirlik. European land. European infrastructure. American operations. 4. The US Sixth Fleet depends entirely on European ports for fuel and supplies. Souda Bay, Naples, 11 Greek ports. Without them the Sixth Fleet cannot operate in the Mediterranean or project power into the Middle East. 5. The majority of NATO’s intelligence and surveillance capacity is hosted on European soil and fed directly to the CIA, NSA and Pentagon. 6. Early warning radar at Fylingdales, UK. Missile tracking in Greenland. Norwegian monitoring stations near Russia. All dependent on European goodwill. 7. It would cost America MORE to bring the troops home than keep them here. European hosts subsidise roughly a third of all basing costs. 8. Europe is America’s largest arms customer. Stop buying American and part of their defence industry goes bankrupt. 9. The bases aren’t charity. They’re America using European soil, European money and European goodwill to project power across the world. 10. We’re not the freeloaders.

The arrogance of you. I HAVE a child with learning disabilities, my whole life then is campaigning for a better life for individuals like my child. And you look down your nose sneering at me! That is the type of arrogance and ablism i see so rife. No listening just dismissive.

It says it all she posts this question but blocks so I can’t respond. It’s not about engagement, it’s not about listening, it’s not about vulnerable autistics, it’s about self promotion and victimhood.

lol this woman is a bigot who wants to lock disabled people away. Her posts are getting community motes pointing this out and yet she thinks she’s the good in this. She must think Nazis were saints.

Roughly 10 years ago, I had supper with a few friends & quite a large number of people I didn’t know, & one man brought his fiancée who suffered from severe coprolalia (a form of Tourette’s, where your brain makes you involuntarily blurt out inappropriate & offensive things.) Over the course of the evening, she happened to shout out the most derogatory homophobic slurs one could imagine whenever I spoke. Because I KNEW she had this condition she COULDN’T HELP having, there was ZERO offence taken & we all simply laughed it off. Believe me, there was NO ONE more embarrassed, distressed & upset as SHE was, despite our efforts to reassure her. Probably worth bearing in mind before mindlessly castigating someone for a condition that is already hell to live with…

We Had a Chance to End the Conflict and We Chose to Burn It. In 2005, something historic happened. Israel withdrew completely from Gaza - not just its soldiers, but also all of its civilians, farms, and settlements. Thousands of Israeli families were uprooted from their homes by their own government. Synagogues were dismantled, greenhouses and infrastructure worth hundreds of millions of dollars were left behind - not destroyed, but handed over to give us a chance to start fresh. For the first time in our history, we had full control over a piece of land - our own borders, our own cities, our own people, and access to the sea. The world was ready to help. Billions in aid and investment were promised. It could have been the beginning of a Palestinian Singapore. But instead of building schools, hospitals, and industries, we built tunnels, rockets, and militias. Instead of creating hope, we chose hatred. Instead of turning Gaza into proof that Palestinians can govern themselves, we turned it into proof that we cannot. When Israel left, the world expected calm, peace, and progress. What did we give them? Civil war between Fatah and Hamas. Executions in the streets. A terror group seizing power and turning Gaza into a launching pad for endless wars. And the world still asks: Why doesn’t Israel “just give up the West Bank” too? Because they already saw what happened the last time they gave land for nothing in return. The truth is painful, but it must be said: We were given a chance to build a future and we used it to destroy our own. We could have shown that we were ready for peace. Instead, we showed that we were ruled by those who fear peace more than they fear death. Every rocket fired from Gaza wasn’t just aimed at Israel - it was aimed at our own future. And now, after all the destruction, poverty, and death, I keep asking myself: What if, just once, we had chosen life instead of revenge? We had the opportunity to end the conflict. But our leaders and too many of us chose to keep it alive.

🚨SHOCKING: Went to a ‘pro-Palestine’ march today. Within 10 minutes I was staring at an ISIS flag - and yes, I found the man waving it. You won’t believe what he told me.

Anyone who delights in the brutal murder of another person needs spiritual and psychological deliverance. The Gospel for Mass today was Jesus’ exhortation to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors. May His message be heeded and lived. We call on His Divine Mercy now.

If you see a comment that fills you with anger respond with this video…. This is the only response that truly matters. Save the video and use it, let’s expand his legacy and the gospel he preached 🩷🩷 Let’s share this far and wide because the gospel saves. If we want change we need to make disciples. #CharlieKirk

I have often insisted that "hyperdulia" vs. "latria" is a distinction without a difference. They both look the same. So I have to give credit to a Catholic priest who just says out loud what he knows we're all thinking: "We common Catholics can't tell the difference between worship and hyperdulia, but why get technical? Our quasi-omnipotent Lady is awesome, and when it comes to Mary there's no such thing as 'too much'." Yeah, she might as well be God. Nailed it. frmarkdwhite.wordpress.com/2…
