This is triggering precisely because it's recognizable in other contexts. There are regular Americans who love their families, are kind to their neighbors, and low-key believe we should deport every undocumented immigrant. Showing them how cruel that is wouldn't change their mind

I’m not gonna lie. I cannot imagine a single reasonable circumstance where, a child, could say to me: “sir, please don’t call me that it upsets me.” And I would not be agreeable to that, give the alternative is deliberately upsetting a child? Some people are just rotten.
