Resigned to the Left Behind
See that kid over there.
Spare a thought, spare a prayer.
The future written doesn't know it yet.
One of failure, one of regret
See I went to their school.
That's where I learned to play the fool.
School wasn't a happy place

Guessing Tóth will leave possibly in January, Pears is a toss of a coin for me, but needs games somewhere.
3) Carter reluctantly release 4) McLoughlin option year?
5+6) Ribeiro Pickering I'd replace one in Jan and use option on one.

📝 Rovers have 13 players out of contract next summer.
Amongst the top priorities has to be Hayden Carter, who poses a tricky dilemma after so many injury-hit seasons.
Important background and the latest as we understand it, here.

Ouch #Rovers bench getting battered playing WBA U 21s.
Am I confident about #Rovers, not yet, the margins are small.
Morishita being out for some time doesn't help either.
January is a problem, there'll be a lot of speculation around Tóth unless a quick sale agreed
Need keeper, L.B. LCB, CM and 2 Fwds. We won't get 6.
I don't know what #Rovers best 11 is but I do know Mussa Baradji is in it.
Interesting to see Montgomery call Morsy "my mentor" especially after the Morsy interview. Maybe Morsy was a better signing than we really know. Can't ever remember anything similar....

What was the keeper doing on the Afolayan goal? Looks like he was actually trying to get out the way, a slip?.

Blackburn just don't score goals like they are scoring this season, WTF

It's he good enough for you....
Really good piece on #Rovers & MowbrayBall MK11 by Andy Bayes

The #Rovers squad is getting too old and we need to add some players with potential, rather than experience, to sustain a buy to sell model, discuss....
Good morning #Rovers, I'm not affected by the loyalty scheme but my time line is bombarded by angry upset fans. Food Tech Teacher needs to revisit this scheme urgently, please ensure Steve Curwood is fully updated on the upset this is causing. He should speak publicly, urgently

The stand out is a surprise given personal connections - Pears
Big Winners, Atcheson, Gudjohnsen, Montgomery, Afolayan and to a lesser extent Fevrier and Carter
If #Rovers need to rest Gudjohnsen and Atcheson this weekend...
Tóth
Beyuku Carter McLoughlin
Alebiosu Morsy Montgomery Cantwell Pickering
Morishita Afolayan
Hey @duolingo thanks for letting me practice video calls, however an opportunity to give feedback would be useful. The reviews are revealing lots of miss hearings and mistakes.
Just watched #Rovers extended highlights. Beyuku popped up a few times. I've seen people talk about the dummy, but what about the distance and the shape of the run he made to get himself into that position. We might just have a real talent here.

Can I get a few reposts for this. Very hard to get publicity for books when you aren’t famous
⚽️ The Smell of Football books TWO and THREE from the legendary trilogy by the brilliant @MickRathbone the former Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers and Halifax Town player turned physio.
2️⃣ Book two of three is the searingly honest and unputdownable sequel to the award-winning The Smell of Football. In this engrossing and moving but often hilarious memoir, Mick ‘Baz’ Rathbone picks up from where his acclaimed debut tome left off.

🏟️ There are great stories of the likes of David Moyes, Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Bobby Charlton and the late, great Ray Clemence.
3️⃣ In the third book, Mick concludes his riveting football trilogy with a 100-day diary starting in the early 2024/25 season.

📚 This book shows just how much the players and officials really do care and just how painful and emotionally draining defeat is. It is an honest account that brings to life the day-to-day running of a professional football club.
