When you think about it, Chillaxing is the archaic version of Chill-Maxxing, which should be updated to be Chillaxxing

Hot take: “I don’t like sand” is actually a phenomenal line and moment.
In the midst of their fun and bonding, their smiles fade as they are reminded that they come from two very different worlds.
She grew up a princess. She lived a life of luxury. To her, sand represented happy times of a swimming in the ocean and lying on the beach with her loved ones.
Life was naturally beautiful and soft. Like the sand of a beach. She believed that if people could just work together in a democratic way, everything would continue to share that beauty.
He grew up a slave. To him, sand was destructive and a nuisance. It heightened the danger of the storms and increased the difficulty of his labor.
Life was course, rough, and harsh like the sand of the desert. The people in charge made the life of him and his mother unfair. He thought the only way to make things fair was to force them to be fair. Civilization should be treated like a machine. It will work, but only if someone powerful steps in to fix it.
This one line in the movie shows the strong juxtaposition between their lives and political worldviews. And I love that!

kitboga just called a scam center using an AI bot 10 times and transferred the bots to a conference call. now they're all stuck in a loop interrupting eachother at the same time and nobody can call the scam fake phone number because they're over their caller limit.
Calling Mary but a vessel feels like it undermines her as a person. We know Jesus is eternal, as God is eternal. It's just linguistically smoother to say she's the Mother of God.
Replying to @JesuitJunkrat
Jesus is fully God and fully man. Mary was the vessel for His birth into this world. Because Jesus pre-exists as God, calling her "Mother of God" is not accurate, as God has no mother. "Vessel of God" would be more accurate. But we could call James and Jude "Brothers of God," if that makes you happy.

The other biggest point is that the Jedi code was so sacrosanct that it could never be violated whenever the code gave a negative outcome for Anakin, but suddenly, when the Jedi code was finally in his favor and dictated keeping Palpatine alive, instead, Palpatine was to be killed in blatant violation of the code.
The Jedi all of a sudden were willing to throw the code out the window when it benefited them, but never when it benefited Anakin. Which is why Mace Windu, instead, ends up thrown out the window.
I wonder why young guys relate to this story so much and find it so compelling.

Does anyone else think Fleur Delacour was treated ridiculously unfairly?
The more I reread the books, the more I feel like Fleur deserved so much better from the Weasleys, especially Molly and Ginny. I mean, think about it. She fell in love with Bill, chose to build a life with him in England and was even staying with his family to get to know them better before the wedding. That's a pretty big deal. And instead of making her feel welcome, Ginny calls her Phlegm, Hermione joins in on the mockery, and Molly doesn't seem particularly happy about the engagement either. Imagine leaving your family, moving into your future in-laws' home and getting that kind of reception lol.
Fleur Delacour had to watch Bill get mauled before the Weasleys finally understood that she genuinely loved him. And that says a LOT about how they saw her.
She was a Triwizard champion, worked at Gringotts, helped shelter Harry and his friends during the war, risked her life in the Seven Potters operation, and fought at Hogwarts.
She wasn’t British, and she could’ve stayed out of the war. She chose to help anyway.
Fleur didn’t need to prove her love. The Weasleys needed to stop underestimating her.
I'm not saying Fleur was perfect. She could be rude, judgemental and pretty full of herself at times. But I definately think she was one of the bravest and mlost loyal characters in the series, and people spent way too much time judging her for being beautiful, French and a little annoying to notice it.
Honestly, I think Fleur showed more loyalty to the Weasleys than some of them showed her respect. Anyone else feel this way?

We had a black President for 8 years and not a single redneck, Republican or white supremacist took a shot at him.
The Left has a very different view of what the word tolerance means.
