AI's a rampant plague that @VRChat refuses to address. VRC promotes AI worlds & uses AI images. Until something changes, I'm stopping my efforts in VRChat translations, VRChat Wiki maintenance and Community Testers, as well as spending money on the platform. Join group NOAI.3843.

While we prepare for the next #VRChat film with our community dojo, we drafted an immersive set for our actors to test what they know for our upcoming project.

It’s the first film where we don’t know the ending of the film as the end result will be determined based off of the performance of the Officers and Assailants in the field. They will be playing a hypothetical game of “chess” with specific rules that outline their successes.

It’s very intricate and I hope it creates an atmosphere that is truly unpredictable when we actually begin filming and I cannot wait to see where this goes!

If I’m going to make more films with a specific theme, it’s about time to start growing the avatar catalogue. It’s about to get expensive. But we embrace the craft.

Working on this next #VRChat short film with our community dojo is going to be quite the task. We’re definitely working on it in a very unorthodox way that probably would be overlooked by any other filmmaker but I think immersion on set adds layers to the product.

It’s a very technical way of doing something but I strongly doubt anyone else would take their time to do it this way. However, I think a quote from the 3D Animated Movie “BOLT” reinforces my notion that “If the dog believes it, the audience believes it” is reasonable.

Conceptually, it’s very exciting because it means that the beats of each shot has more variable risk where a character’s expectancy on the screen in a high stakes action scene can very easily be cut short in a way that is more up to them than it is me.

Got the opportunity to channel my inner John Wick for this choreography reference! Worked alongside @Niijikana & @ItsKindaTitoish to recreate the scene, and test out a new limb-grabber system that may help grabs/binds look better. Hope you all like it! 🎥 @Legend50210

A HUGE recreation was done today, and it’s a fragment of “Battle of the Heroes” that I had not attempted before. @berryaxolot1 was my amazing partner for this scene! As far as VRChat choreography goes, this looks fairly spot on, so I hope you all enjoy! 💙 🎥 @Legend50210

I’m wanting to really step up the level of quality, production and professionalism with this next mainline project. I’m wanting to make sure it knocks every single project I’ve done currently out of the water with stronger attention to detail down to the setup.

These smaller projects I’ve been doing sporadically help with the one-off urges to make something but in the end, each one was a different practice that I learned that I wanted to experiment more with. (That, and also getting more comfortable with Davinci from FCPX)

I’m now learning how to properly write a story, how to script it and how to better set up these projects for a better film set and end product. It’s a gradual start but it’s feeling more and more exciting the more prep-work I’ve been putting in.
