Upon digestion of the Lighter news, here are my opinions on $LIT:
-the regulated track was 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐩 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭. Robinhood owns it and they have the relevant licenses. Bitstamp is pretty much dead.
-The token traded weak for ~3 weeks into the event
-The numbers look good
-Lighter is still pursuing the CFTC license. This is the big unlock and was always the mega bull case, easy distribution via Robinhood retails. Their technical architecture is ideal for this.
-Upon receipt of license, Robinhood can route Robinhood main app flow to Lighter. It would do this if Lighter offers the best price. This is generally the case. Lighter usually offers a better price than even Hyperliquid for the major assets. Bitstamp is no contest.
-no meaningful unstakes post news while perps gunned it down aggressively. Perps shorts need spot holders to capitulate. So far, unstaked LIT had their chance and staked holding strong.
𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝. A lot hinges on the license, which we should find out soon. I am bullish on approval odds relative to the market (NFA, this is my opinion) and expect the resulting candle to be a big gap where it will be hard to reposition, even if you're at the screen.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce calls to end mass KYC data collection, warning it puts crypto holders at risk of phishing and physical attacks.
Pierce says the current KYC/AML system creates massive databases of sensitive information that can be hacked, leaked, or exploited.
She's pushing for zero-knowledge proofs (ZK proofs) that could verify users meet regulatory requirements without exposing their personal information.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 A B-1B bomber reportedly left RAF Fairford tonight as Iran puts its forces on highest alert
Footage appears to show the long-range bomber taking off from the British base, which sits six to eight hours flying time from Iran, and nobody has said what the mission is, since Fairford hosts American bomber rotations and training runs constantly.
Iranian outlets say the armed forces went to their top alert level, with no official confirmation from Tehran.
What makes tonight worth watching is everything stacked around it, with the State Department warning Americans across six countries, Trump cutting his Camp David weekend short, and Tehran's terms for ending the war sitting in Qatar awaiting an answer, so either somebody is sending a message or somebody is getting ready.

A US company below $1b market cap that is very likely to be the engine of many US perps exchanges, most notably Robin Hood.Even though I'm still buying, allow me to do some moon math on a lazy sunday afternoon.
As I said before, Lighter is undervalued based on both volume & revenue against its peers but I'm leaving that out of scope for this model.

- 14.1m active users, share US = 90%

What this table says, is that when Lighter gets integrated in the Robin Hood app (just that, really), would run ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 to a $44 token price. Even considered a substantial increase in supply (125M) which will happen in 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 2027.
I expect the unlocks to be okay too, given the nature of the investors (Thiel, Sacks, Robin Hood) who are not jeet crypto VC's who are hammering the sell button before the unlock (Thiel made $3292033029 gigillion SPCX, you really think he's gonna sell asap to recoup initials in the most pro-crypto US administration ever?
Just a Robin Hood app integration on perps.
No options.
No other platforms.
Just a base case.
