Ya`ll stop sleeping on referrals & being in networking groups & leverage the power of digital networking communities— Slack / Discord / FB Groups etc . These communities can give you access to roles that aren`t advertised on traditional job boards, aka the "hidden job market ."
You can`t just be a fly on the wall though, you have to engage in these communities & contribute meaningfully to conversations & build genuine relationships, not just ask for job leads .
It`ll make you a valuable member of the community & I`ve gotten a few jobs this way + mentorship / great relationships .
& it significantly increase your chances of discovering hella job opportunities that may not be visible on the surface of the job market .
