A year in the #MITaverse
During 2020-2021 at @MIT, I dove into virtual world building for the @MITSDM community with @builtbyBTN.
Some context, hybrid curriculum delivery is the normal for #MITsdm; we were further up the digital delivery learning curve than most when #covid19
To this end, bringing others to @MIT that would otherwise not be included; think @mitopenlearning, @MITProfessional, or @edxonline moves to the #metaverse or #web3.
There is no reason you couldn’t drop into the #MITaverse, walk into a virtual building, have some hallway conversations, and then enter a lecture hall -- exploring the space between what is just hyperlinks today.
