So over the past ten years, while Justin Trudeau’s Liberals were arguably destroying Canada’s national interests and economy through bad investment, social-welfare, and immigration decisions, a lack of strategic military foresight, and letting hostile states run wild while CSIS warned of existential sovereignty concerns — if we take the WSJ scoops from senior sources as representative of Carney’s philosophy — then in that same decade of Carney’s international banking and economic and corporate governance, while most average Canadians still saw the U.S. economy and society as a friend of Canada and a close ally, Carney was already arguing that Canada was too reliant on the United States and would need deeper engagements with the powers and financial systems of Europe (and China, per speeches the WSJ did not cover). None of this was explained in the Carney campaign. Canadians voted for it anyway. He was going to fix the “Trump issues,” and if the polls are to be believed — even while he is moving backwards on that file — they still hold him in very high regard, while now seeing the United States with about the same level of positivity as China. This all feels wrong. Firstly, what happens if Russia extends its aggression to more European states? Is Carney going to vibe Canada into a European military power while running an economic war with the NORAD partner? Canada needs to be concerned first with our north and getting aligned with our NORAD partner, and the dual threat of China and Russia.

Trump didn’t wreck Canada. He just showed up with a bullhorn and started reading the fucking damage report out loud. That’s why they hate him. Canada spent years choking its own energy sector, underfunding its military, bloating its welfare state, and importing huge population growth while pretending all of it would somehow make the country stronger. Meanwhile it sits on the fifth-largest oil and natural-gas reserves on Earth, piles of timber, metals, minerals, and direct access to the richest market on the planet. Most countries would kill for that hand. Ottawa played it like a drunk at a blackjack table. Then Trump started laughing. He mocked the dependency. He hammered NATO freeloading. He pointed at trade. He jabbed at Canada’s reliance on the American market and American defense. Mark Carney can wrap himself in the maple leaf and sneer at Trump all he wants. The numbers still sit there like a goddamn corpse nobody can hide. America became the world’s largest oil and gas producer. Its tech companies dominate. Its GDP pulled roughly $10 trillion ahead of either China or the EU. Washington started rebuilding military power while Canada kept clinging to the same stale European crap that helped produce weak growth and weaker leverage. That’s the humiliation. Trump walks into the room, points at the wreckage, and says, “Look at this shit.” Canadian elites scream about his tone because his tone is easier to attack than the record. He’s rude. He’s obnoxious. He trolls the living hell out of them. And every time he does, he forces the same ugly question back onto the table: How the hell did a country with this many advantages manage to make itself this dependent? (article below)

Carney has appointed the ultimate Liberal powerbroker to head up the government’s corporate welfare agency. Dominic Barton is the man who ran McKinsey while the firm profited from helping Purdue Pharma “supercharge” the opioid crisis; who chaired Trudeau's economic advisory council while McKinsey's federal contracts exploded thirty-fold to over $200m, contracts the Auditor General later found broke the rules. Now he will help insiders get billions in handouts, bailouts, and carve outs, paid for by you. And he was the man at McKinsey who cozied up to the Communist government in Beijing, even working with state-owned companies that violated international law and he refused to condemn the Uyghur genocide. The Liberal Club gets rich making everyone else poor.

Every single dollar stripped from a Canadian paycheck is authorized in Ottawa, not Washington. The attempt by Canadian politicians and their media allies to scapegoat President Trump for Canada's punishing tax burden is pure political sleight of hand. President Trump holds zero constitutional or legislative authority over Canadian federal tax brackets, provincial sales taxes, corporate levies, or Ottawa's bloated administrative state. Canadian leaders engineered their own fiscal misery through years of unchecked spending, massive structural deficits, and self-inflicted regulatory strangulation. When domestic leaders suffocate productivity with high marginal rates and ballooning bureaucracy, pointing across the southern border is simply a calculated distraction to evade accountability. Canada is a failed state by design.

Xi Condemned China’s Youth for Lying Flat. Now He’s Doing It Himself. Xi Jinping has not yet found a solution to China’s economic crisis. He appears to have chosen something easier: strategic paralysis. The July Politburo meeting was supposed to set the economic agenda for the second half of 2026. Instead, Xi delivered the usual slogans: strengthen confidence, overcome difficulties, pursue progress while maintaining stability. The vocabulary changes. The policy does not. China’s own data make that inaction remarkable. GDP growth slowed from 5.0% in Q1 to 4.3% in Q2, the weakest since late 2022. Fixed-asset investment fell 5.7% in the first half. Real-estate investment collapsed 18%. Retail sales grew only 1.3%. Yet exports rose 13.4%. That is not rebalancing as Xi promised. It is an economy increasingly trying to export its domestic-demand crisis to the rest of the world. China is nearly a $20 trillion economy. It cannot indefinitely subsidize factories, suppress household consumption, and expect foreign consumers to absorb the resulting surplus. America is pushing back. Europe is pushing back. Even developing countries increasingly fear the destruction of their own industries by subsidized Chinese overcapacity. Everyone knows the real remedy: transfer more income and economic power to Chinese households. But that requires structural reform, changing how national income is divided among the Party-state, state enterprises, local governments, and ordinary families. And that is precisely what Xi will not risk. Reform creates uncertainty; uncertainty threatens control. So Xi demands that the population have confidence while displaying none of his own. The governing philosophy now resembles the bureaucratic proverb: do more, make more mistakes; do less, make fewer mistakes; do nothing, make no mistakes. Xi has imported “lying flat” from China’s demoralized youth into officaldom itself. Deng Xiaoping was 88 when he launched his Southern Tour to restart reform. Xi is only 73, yet already seems to have given up treating the patient.
China’s Smartest Students Are Giving Up on the Future And Betting Against Chinese Economy. China’s brightest students are increasingly choosing police academies, government-funded teaching programs, and other paths to permanent state employment, even when their scores qualify them for elite universities. This is more than an admissions trend: it reveals collapsing confidence in China’s private economy, rising fear of unemployment, and what the country’s next 20 years may look like.

A good day to remind people that the “solution” to the virus was to have government employees, rich people and tech workers stay at home while poor people delivered them food. And then, for an encore, implement a system that guts the middle class through inflation while dramatically boosting the value of assets held by…the government workers, the rich and the tech workers…

I can't say that I've ever met a Christian who openly admits to hating Christianity and all of its teachings, yet tells us that they love Islam. That's because, like most leftists, Talarico is simply a fraud who believes in nothing.
🚨UNEARTHED James Talarico — who said he "hates Christianity" — praised Islam for inspiring his religious beliefs: "I’ve learned as much about my faith from Salman’s tradition, from the Islamic mystics, from poets like Rumi, as much as I have from Christian authors..."

🚨 FREELAND: "US IS A BIGGER THREAT THAN CHINA" 🚨😡 Chrystia Freeland just told Wall Street Week that many Canadians now trust Beijing MORE than Washington. Let that sink in. This is the same Freeland who: - Froze bank accounts during the Freedom Convoy - Used the Emergencies Act on peaceful protesters - Said she was "protecting democracy" Now she wants us to believe China is our "reliable friend"? 24K views. 1.1K likes. 700+ comments. And the top comment everywhere: "She does not speak for me or conservative Canadians."

TERRIFYING: Zohran Mamdani attended Friday prayers at a mosque where the imam literally called for the killing of infidels (non-Muslims). This did not get enough attention.

I used to think Zohran Mamdani was a ‘cultural Muslim’ who didn’t really care much about religion, and was just a third-worldist using his Islamic background for identity politics and votes. I was wrong. It is becoming increasingly more obvious by the day that he’s actually an extremely radicalized Shia Muslim practicing taqiya all along. Remember a couple months ago when relatives of Iranian Regime officials were arrested across America? They were all pretending to live secular lives, the women even wore provocative clothing. They were all practicing taqiya. While all Islamic sects allow you to lie in order to advance Islam, this is even stronger in Shia Islam. You can live a completely different life. Well, I believe this is the same situation. Zohran Mamdani is not only a Muslim, he’s a Twelver Shia Muslim. He belongs to the exact same sect as the Islamic Regime in Iran, Hezbollah, and Houthis. His ‘progressive’ persona is all an act. The only thing he cares about is advancing Islam. This is why he pretends to care about the LGBT and other useful idiots. Taqiya allows him to do that. Just like during the Islamic revolution in Iran, when the Muslims and leftists were allies, and we all know how that ended for the leftists when the Muslims got to power. This man is a monster.

Why do you think the same people trying to keep you from developing your resources are the same people who made the EU dependent on cheap Russian oil? Why isn't Canada speed building pipelines to rescue them and get rich? Instead you give the business to dictators?
