Just been to Allotment Open Day and a bee has crawled up inside my jeans and stung my leg. On the plus side I bought some jam.

Channel 5’s Tour de France highlights programme has been disjointed and pretty poor, but it looks great compared to their Commonwealth Games highlights which is truly abysmal.

Just finished watching Nemesis and it was really awful but I couldn’t stop watching it. I need help.

Waiting for a presale email but just discovered that tickets are £50. 90’s band, fancied going on a whim, but I can’t justify the cost. And to think I saw the marvellous British Birds for nowt last week …..

So last week I heard ‘Christian’ by British Birds for the 1st time and thought I’d love to see them live. Then the fabulous Ferret announces not only a gig next week but a free one at that. And it’s the day before my birthday! I am officially A Bit Excited.

Got dressed up for an afternoon out and managed to spill coffee all over my skirt which is a very pale grey. Styled it out by holding my bag in front of the stain.

When you think a pre-sale starts at 1000 but it started at 0930.

New Year’s Resolution: don’t make any New Year’s Resolutions. I feel a sense of achievement already.

There’s a man waiting in the pharmacy, as am I, and he keeps randomly talking so I’m studiously looking at my phone.

It’s warm and dry enough today so off to the seafront for a walk. 😎

Just finished watching Death By Lightning on Netflix and am reminded just how good an actor Matthew MacFadyen is - it’s not just the words, it’s his mannerisms in a role. 👌
