We applaud the state for offering a technology solution, but force feeding a too-little-too-late system like this that will slow down vaccine distribution is the opposite of public service, and it potentially threatens the lives of Californians. Please reconsider this, CA.

The previous systems were hard to navigate, they crashed a lot, and created a messy workflow which contributed to slow rollout and vaccine wastage. Many cities/counties opted-out because putting shots in arms as efficiently and safely as possible is the most important thing.

A centralized system is not a bad idea, but NOT when it's developed with little understanding of the actual challenges on the ground. CDC's attempt with Deloitte/Salesforce already failed miserably. technologyreview.com/2021/01… and there was already a state-wide system called Calvax

We have been told that California (thru their contractor Blue Shield) will cut vaccine supplies 🤬 to counties that don't want to use the half-baked vaccine management system they just released (MyTurn – built by Accenture/Salesforce) 2/5

We’ve been working with the City of LA & San Mateo County day and night to help deliver vaccines. Helped book 400k vaccinations and administer 250k. We provide both the tech & 100s of onsite clinical staff. Instead of supporting this, CA is throwing a huge curveball 1/5
