Most of my FPL planning right now is trying to figure out when and how I get Gabriel. Amazing what a 17 pointer can do 😆 Maybe I just sell Calafiori to someone cheaper and pretend Gabriel doesn’t exist for a while 😬 (If Calafiori is out of course).

Think Gameweek 8 might shake things up a bit. Gabriel getting a 17 pointer in particular is really helpful for the game. Konsa and Calafiori has been solid, but maybe not for much longer. “Money doesn’t matter at the moment” - but I wonder how easily people can get Gabriel without hits for example. Not that he’s essential of course, but might be handy post international break. Joao Pedro being out for a while would leave multiple options open. Plenty of good cheap mids. Maybe the template cracks will get bigger. Just a shame all the premiums bar Haaland are rubbish - although Isak has 6 goals!

Not a great week - 42 points! Probably should have captained Haaland 😁 3 FTs to fix a few things if needed GW9. For now it’s time to chill and wait for more info.

Bruno Fernandes benched, never thought I’d see the day! Think Carrick is well within his rights to do it. But now he really needs a win even more than he already did! Although I think his time is done regardless to be honest.

There’s only 2 players I would expect a drop like this for. Bruno Fernandes, or the only guy that seems able to score goals from open play - Mbeumo. Let’s see in 1.5 hours. Might be nothing, but that’s a big drop!

You look at Chelsea last night and wonder whether it’s worth having 3 attackers. They are currently sitting 14th for xG per game in the league. Palmer is running at 0.33xGI which is awful for his price. Then you think about alternative options and it’s a bit 🤷‍♂️ Anyone like Manzambi etc I can get without selling Chelsea players as well. Maybe if I want Gabriel soon it could be more viable.
