Six years since I applied to my own advert for a houseshare. Still remember feeling amazed at the speed of the response of Lewis, 23, from my initial application - before reading the very same message I had just posted on the application, in my personal inbox. – at Malta

Fox: Why are you here this morning?
Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

The first touch is abysmal. The physicality non-existent. The decision-making is child-like. They are techinically inferior in almost every way. #MUFC

It’s minute 34, #MUFC fans chant: “Attack. Attack. Attack, attack, attack.”
An excruciating performance to this point, such slow football. No conviction in United’s moves.
Como so much more purposeful. Paz so dangerous every time he gets the ball.
Said it for years, this team will go nowhere with Dalot anywhere near it. Other than a brief respite in form for a few months last year, he is comfortably out of his depth. Mazraouri also an absolute liability.
I HATE that this hellfire platform promotes contrarian takes. Especially when those takes are profitable, enticing more people to come up with increasingly batshit-crazy theories for engagement.
I need to quit. Just also need the breaking transfer news dopamine hit every summer

How long is the stench of the “sham” going to corrode the meaning, worth, and very essence of the Premier League?
Listening to commentary about Manchester City’s players matching the defiance of their ownership and triumphing in adversity.
Listening to fans chorusing the names of the men running the club, wearing masks or displaying banners of their faces and jibing: “We’re Man City, we’ll cheat when we want.”
Victory being framed as “a lovely moment,” a show of togetherness as though some grave injustice has been imposed on City, rather than their hierarchy being found by an independent commission to have orchestrated financial doping on an industrial scale.
Their opponents and the rest of us wondering if any of this actually matters now and how much of it ever did?
There can be no business as usual pretence. We need a full stop to the absurdity.

"Get lost! How dare you ruin what's part of our country, our DNA in this country."
Ian Holloway had some very strong words when asked about the Man City charges.

This is completely incoherent. What exactly are they complaining about?
If the Premier League ceases to exist because the integrity of the competition disintegrates, the country loses a lot more than just the investment these sportswashing tyrants pumped into Manchester...

When Etihad Airways signed the £400m contract, for ten years of naming rights, the deal represented 45 times their only annual profit in a decade.

Horrendous statement from UK prime minister Andy Burnham on Manchester City’s Abu Dhabi ownership.
1) As PM he should remain entirely neutral.
2) ‘I can’t intervene *more*’ suggests he already has.
3) ‘The detail’ may demonstrate that losing them would be for the best.
Pretty revealing.
Andy Burnham has said he would be “really concerned” to lose Manchester City’s owners as a result of the club being found guilty of more than 100 breaches of Premier League rules | ✍️

How, in the name of all that is holy, can he be defending what is blindingly obvious?!
Also...four years...three of the best legal minds in the country...evidence coming out of their ears...where was the irrefutable evidence he talked of in the trial?
This is a drowning man.
City staff have been sent a video message by CEO Ferran Soriano in which he stresses the club will explore all legal avenues to win the case.
Re: sponsorships, he says City provided ‘irrefutable evidence’ including ‘bank statements, money transfers, witnesses and everything necessary to categorically demonstrate that the money did not come from the owner’
