Hey @_Auza_, you need to answer this.
I recently checked the on-chain history of the $MCPCAT (Agent Cat) token you launched and promoted as the “first token created with BaseMCP + Baseapp through Claude.” What I found doesn’t match the hack story you posted.
Your wallet is **auzaaa.base.eth** — `0x67446b29DF9BF01C8717BF48ff3B3a8E664f8023`.
**Token creation**
Tx: `0xaf687e27332a01b5a51901de79170a675e7c5ae5ee10a4906282d9bb97c42c0f`
(Aug 17, 2026 ~10:36 AM UTC)
The full supply was minted straight to your wallet via Account Abstraction / Baseapp-style EntryPoint. You controlled it from the start.
**Liquidity removal**
Tx: `0x64f84fcca748a24c30ecf2d5a5a1647e5a3711d40024220b211f3e15431590e6`
(Aug 17, 2026 **7:44 PM UTC**)
Your wallet removed roughly 12.41B MCPCAT + ~4,028 USDC from the Aerodrome pool. Same controlled account, Coinbase bundler / EntryPoint flow.
**Then 21 minutes later you added liquidity again**
Tx: `0x2603274953f69532fe4024409139a7b14f1a75913daabc249d842efbb6c395f4`
(Aug 17, 2026 **8:05 PM UTC**)
Same wallet added ~12.97B MCPCAT + only **0.005 ETH** (~$12 at the time) as new liquidity (new pool contracts created in the process).
You still hold significant USDC in that same wallet (thousands of dollars) plus a large bag of MCPCAT. The actions were authorized by the account you control. A pure external hack that drains liquidity usually moves the funds to a fresh attacker wallet and doesn’t come back 20 minutes later to add tiny liquidity from the same address.
You posted the next day that a Telegram guy sent you a PDF for an MCPCAT website, you downloaded it, your laptop got compromised, your Gmails were taken, you lost access to Baseapp, and you didn’t even know LP could be removed. You offered partial refunds and said if you wanted to rug you would have done it at ATH.
The timing and the fact that the same wallet both removed the real liquidity and then re-added almost nothing doesn’t line up with that story. Unlocked LP + this sequence is a very common soft-rug pattern on Base/Aerodrome.
So a few direct questions:
- Why did the wallet you control remove ~$4k USDC liquidity at 7:44 PM and then add only ~$12 of ETH liquidity 21 minutes later?
- If you were fully locked out / hacked, how did the same account keep signing these actions and why are the funds still sitting there instead of being moved out?
- Why call it a laptop/PDF hack when the on-chain trail stays inside the account you launched and promoted with?
You promoted this to your followers and the Base community as something special (first BaseMCP token, full chat with Claude, etc.). People who bought into that narrative got hit when the liquidity was pulled.
**Base community and @jessepollak**: please don’t promote or platform people who do this to their own holders. Verify the txs yourself on Basescan. Stay out of this one.
I unfollowed. The on-chain record is public — anyone can check the three hashes above. If there’s a real explanation that fits the timestamps and the fact that the same wallet did both the removal and the tiny re-add, reply with it. Otherwise this looks exactly like the kind of thing the community needs to call out so it doesn’t keep happening.
I’ve submitted my application for the Base Trencher Grant Program 🔵
As a creator and community builder, I want to make Base easier to explore through clear explainers, practical walkthroughs and conversations around its culture and memes.
The program offers selected applicants $1,000–$5,000 in grants, plus a direct connection with the Base team and other community leaders.
If you create content about Base culture, lead a meme community or run a Base trading community, this could be worth exploring.

Creating a token is one step. Organising its launch takes several more.
A project also needs to consider liquidity, token release schedules and how people can inspect its contracts.
@Openhelixx is building a Web3 launch toolkit that brings these tasks into one dashboard, with a form-based interface for creators who do not write code.
For token creation, the process starts with choosing a network and entering details such as the token’s name, symbol and supply. The Studio prepares the transaction, which you review and sign through your wallet.
Its website lists support for BNB Chain, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche and Solana.
The distinction between available tools and features still being tested matters.
Token creation is available on supported mainnets and testnets. Liquidity locking and vesting remain testnet-only pending a professional security audit, according to the website.
These tools serve different purposes. A liquidity lock restricts access to specified liquidity positions for a defined period. Vesting schedules control when allocated tokens become available. Both make particular commitments easier to inspect, though neither guarantees a project’s success.
@Openhelixx also states that users sign actions through their own wallets and retain control of their private keys.
As part of its creator team, I’m interested in explaining that workflow clearly: what each tool does, what is available today and what remains in development.

A leverage multiple tells you the exposure. It doesn’t tell you what holding it will cost.
That distinction becomes more consequential over months or years.
Two forces affect leveraged positions: volatility drag changes how performance compounds, while financing drag reflects the cost of maintaining the exposure. Addressing one leaves the other to consider.
@2FactorFinance approaches both through asset-specific Kelly-optimized leverage and a different source of financing.
The sizing considers the asset’s characteristics, including volatility, rather than applying a uniform 2x or 3x multiple. Financing comes from capital seeking stable yield rather than shorts.
Its public beta on Base extends that approach from Bitcoin toward Coinbase’s tokenized-stock ecosystem, building financial structures around assets brought onchain.
According to @2FactorFinance calculations, its structure reduces all-in holding costs by roughly 75% against the conventional single-stock leveraged structure. That is a cost comparison, not a guarantee of performance. Leveraged exposure still amplifies losses.
I’ve also joined its Points Program.
Season 1 awards Marks for verified social activities, education and referrals. The top 10 leaderboard accounts split a total of 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC, when the season closes at launch.
Marks have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not a claim on a future token.
What interests me is the underlying question: how does leverage need to change when the intended holding period gets longer?

Before chasing a leaderboard, I want to know how it ends.
For @2FactorFinance’s Points Program, Season 1 ends when the protocol launches. The leaderboard freezes, and the top 10 accounts split a total of 1 BTC, paid in cbBTC.
The allocation curve is published upfront: 18.2% for first place, down to 1.8% for tenth. Participants can see how rank determines the prize before committing their time.
I’ve joined the program. Season 1 awards Marks for verified social activities, education and referrals. Purchases, deposits and holdings do not earn Marks.
The protocol itself addresses another question: how should leverage be structured for someone intending to hold an asset over time?
On Base, @2FactorFinance brings Kelly-optimized leverage to Bitcoin and Coinbase’s tokenized-stock ecosystem. Its approach considers each asset’s volatility when sizing exposure and sources financing from capital seeking stable yield rather than shorts.
Sizing and financing address separate costs. Neither removes market risk, but both matter when exposure is held over longer periods.
What caught my attention in the program is the clarity: defined actions, a published prize curve and a clear event that closes the season.
Marks are non-transferable, have no cash value and are not a claim on a token or asset.
