One of the best things that Bendis has ever done is give us the adventures of repressed bisexual trans woman Spider-Man and his openly bisexual trans woman clone

It was interesting for a year when it was first introduced but it should have been undone at the end of the Williamson run since I think that would have been a good way to end Barry’s character arc.
Thoughts on the retcon of Reverse Flash killing Barry's mother? What works/doesnt work about it for you?

There’s an alternate universe where John Byrne’s Superman never happened because DC wanted the comics to synergise with a Legion of Superheroes based ride.

I’m reading Len Wein and Dave Gibbons’ Green Lantern run and I think that one of Gibbons’ greatest strengths as an artist is that all of his men look a little bit chopped which helps make the book feel more naturalistic than if everyone looked like Greek statues.

I’m really enjoying the back up stories in this run because they makes the Corps feel so much larger than just the humans and recognisable aliens.

Something that I’m really enjoying from Dan Slott’s Superman Unlimited is that he’s making Lois Lane a bit of a renaissance woman again. Even though it’s mostly Jimmy’s thing now, I do think it’s fun when Lois’s life is just absolute insane even without Superman.

As someone who initially hated the idea of Jon being a journalist, I like that we’re getting some hints that he doesn't actually want to follow in his parents’ footsteps.

Does Clark even need health insurance?

I’d like to see Superman having gadgets more often since it’s a fun way of showing Clark’s intelligence and that he's so much more than just his powers.

I got Lego Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight yesterday and I lowkey think that it should just be treated as the backstory for DCU Batman.

Without Christianity, a religion built on antisemitism, the Holocaust wouldn’t have happened.
Replying to @ZealouslyQuoted
Without Christians, you'd all be cooked in Nazi ovens and the state of Israel would not exist. How many times do Christians have to save your asses before you realize Jesus is your Savior? You're welcome.

Fab Five movie incoming!
We’re hearing that Barry Allen will be the primary Flash in the DCU, while Wally will be Kid Flash and join the Teen Titans (though it’s still unclear whether Wally will be included in the first Teen Titans film or if he’s being saved for later)

Irish people weren’t slaves and during the period when some Irish people were indentured servants, no European country would have allowed Jews to own white Christians as slaves.
My Irish ancestors were slaves bought and sold by Jewish people. And you expect me to care about antisemitism?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Irish people sent to the Americas were primarily indentured servants under temporary contracts, not chattel slaves. No historical evidence supports claims they were bought and sold by Jewish people; this relies on the debunked Irish slaves myth. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_sla… snopes.com/fact-check/iri… apnews.com/article/920e1c…

Under German law, it’s illegal to deny that trans people were holocaust victims and a few years, Germany’s holocaust remembrance was specifically dedicated to Queer victims.
those who disagree with this are criminally liable for holocaust denial in germany

Something that I’d like to see modern Flash writers explore is how Linda having more of a natural affinity for getting along with kids compared to Wally impacts their parenting styles with Irey and Jai.

One of my Mark Waid’s talents that I don’t think he’s really had much of an opportunity to show off with his recent DC work is his ability to take very simply and restrictive concepts and use them to explore what makes the protagonist tick. (1/3)

For example, this issue is all about The Flash trying to stop a runaway truck that’s been hijacked by Magenta and uses to explore how Wally was shitty to the women in his life prior to getting serious with Linda and ask the questions of how much responsibility he bares for the-
