Delighted that this article landed with the extremely diligent and careful editors of @WLULawReview! I had a fantastic publication experience with this team as well, the somewhat unusual aspect of including @LexonDigital and solidity code in the article didn’t even phase them.
This fascinating Article introduces a smart-contract-based U.C.C.-1 form built using Lexon that solves many of the problems presented by the U.C.C. This crypto-legal code will simplify the law and make it more accessible. Click the link in our bio to read more! @Prof_CarlaReyes

Open sourcing legal forms provides public benefit in access to a free starting point and efficiency in standardization, and also improves the product through peer review and diversified adaptations. Like code, commenting can be used to explain intention and context.
Agree with this from @erichdylus - most law firms copy or use each others’ docs anyway - particularly where docs are filed in court. But they are copied and amended without thought as to why drafting was there in the first place so learning and knowledge is not shared.

Still so grateful to @AmLawInst for featuring my article, forthcoming with @WLULawReview that builds (yes, actually builds) a UCC-1 form and Article 9 filing system with #smartcontracts.
‘Creating Cryptolaw for the Uniform Commercial Code’ argues that crypto-legal structures are not only possible, but can simplify the law and make it more accessible. Read more on the ALI Adviser: bit.ly/3ARHT5q

Something to keep in mind. There are those who want to regulate crypto to kill it, and those who want to regulate to enable it. It makes a difference.

We look at software in my blockchain class but folks only build it if they want to as part of their papers. I use @LexonDigital’s online editor.

HUGE DEAL!! Here's link to @uniformlaws draft proposal, which extends US commercial law clarity to individual owners of #bitcoin (by name)-not just intermediaries. Special shout-outs to @Prof_CarlaReyes & @propelforward! More work to do but GREAT progress! uniformlaws.org/committees/c…

Was grateful to @DLGA_news for inviting me to speak about the project, and to @hdiedrich of @LexonDigital for joining to explain Lexon in further depth. The discussion was excellent and thoughtful and gave me new ideas on how to move the project forward!

Thank you so much. I tried to direct the video at an audience with no background in either the technology or the law. @LexonDigital was so helpful in doing that because anyone can read the code!
