Cole Palmer is a perfect example of the idea of a player being better than the actual player. He's been living off his reputation at Chelsea while João Pedro and Morgan Rogers have done most of the heavy lifting in that attack.
Palmer had two good seasons, but his current performances don't justify the world-class label people give him. The reputation he built makes it difficult for people to acknowledge that others have been far more influential in Chelsea's attack.
He's one of the most overrated players in football right now. No wonder Thomas Tuchel left him out of the England squad.

Happy weekend, Legends!
Don't forget to maintain a healthy balance between work and relaxation
For me, sports are one of the best ways to recharge, clear my mind, and disconnect from the daily grind
And of course, let's keep connecting, growing, and developing together
Strong communities are built by people who support and inspire each other
Enjoy your weekend, guys🤝

Xavi Simons saw red for a similar challenge on Van Dijk. Spurs Mathys Tel injured but the Leeds player didn’t even get a yellow. These officials are making a mockery of their rules 😤😏
A Leeds player catches a Tottenham player with his studs from behind in a challenge that could easily warrant a straight red in #LEETOT and somehow walks away without even a yellow😭 teapawt.net/KroupiJr10/status/2119…

FROM MAN UNITED'S ACADEMY TO REAL MADRID'S RADAR! 😳🇪🇸
Zak Brunt's football journey is one of the most unusual stories in English football.
After spells in the academies of Manchester United, Manchester City and Aston Villa, Brunt became disillusioned with the traditional academy system.
At just 13, he moved to Spain and attracted interest from Atlético Madrid, who even tried to sign him.
However, FIFA regulations blocked the move because of his age.
His talent also caught the attention of Real Madrid legend Guti, who offered him a trial with the club's youth setup. But Madrid couldn't sign him because of the situation surrounding Atlético.
He eventually returned to England, played for Derby County, Matlock Town and Sheffield United, before finding his way to Boreham Wood.
Now he's making headlines:
🔥 21 goals
🎯 28 assists
⚽ 58 league appearances since returning to Boreham Wood.
From academy disappointments to becoming a magician in non-league football.
Sometimes, the road to success is never straight!

We're approaching January, and INEOS and the Glazers are already preparing fans for another window of limited spending and cost-cutting.
What exactly did people expect? The Glazers have openly admitted that Manchester United is a money-making machine to them, not a sporting project.
If UK fans continue pretending nothing is wrong, they are showing the same lack of ambition as the owners. We might as well accept that we'll all suffer the consequences together.

There's been a noticeable decline in football legends retiring at the clubs where they spent their best years.
We grew up seeing players like Maldini and Totti finish their careers at their boyhood clubs. Nowadays, Messi didn't retire at Barcelona, Ronaldo didn't retire at Manchester United or Real Madrid, and even legends like Ramos, Modrić and Casemiro left Real Madrid before retiring.
Barcelona have also seen Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and Jordi Alba leave without retiring at the club.
Toni Kroos is one of the rare exceptions. It's sad that we've gradually lost that connection between legendary players and the clubs where they made history.
