📝 Craig Herbert, editor of The Mercury, finally comes on board… sort of. @jeremyrockliff @GuyBarnett @fergusonmichael
He wrote: “The question is whether this bill is the best way to do it, while preserving legitimate freedoms.”
Really, Sherlock? 👀 We’ve been saying exactly that for ages — which is why we keep calling for a proper Inquiry. Your paper has spent months ignoring the elephant in the room. 🐘
The Greens’ conversion practices bill does not protect freedoms. They refused to protect teachers, counsellors and pastors. They left people facing up to 21 years in jail for talking. They refused to raise the threshold for “mental harm.” Professor Razay’s comments were brushed aside.
Why? Because Rosalie wants this rushed through with the absolute minimum scrutiny possible — and too much of the media has been complicit. 🤐
It’s punitive. Remember: the process is the punishment. ⚖️

LGBTQ activist has a deer-in-headlights moment when Piers Morgan asks her to explain what “non-binary” actually means.
When she can’t, she calls it “uncomfortably personal.” Then Riley Gaines finishes her off.
PIERS MORGAN: “I just want to ask, what do you mean by non-binary?”
ACTIVIST: “Um when I say I’m non-binary, I’m expressing my identity in a way that I have the right to do.”
PIERS MORGAN: “What does that mean? There’s only one of you.”
ACTIVIST: “Actually, they/them has been the collective they has been used to refer to individual people for centuries and still is. So, um, I mean, if you don’t understand basic grammar, that’s on you.”
PIERS MORGAN: “I’ve got to be honest with you, I don’t understand the concept of what non-binary means… There’s one of you sitting here, and you look to me female. You’re a female?”
ACTIVIST: “If you don’t understand what non-binary means…”
PIERS MORGAN: “Are you a female?”
ACTIVIST: “…then I’m not sure you’re in a position to lead a debate…”
PIERS MORGAN: “But if you can’t explain it in simple language, then what’s the point?”
ACTIVIST: “I don’t think that I’m here to discuss the contents of my identity.”
PIERS MORGAN: “You raised this whole thing. I didn’t mention anything about what you were. You did.”
ACTIVIST: “This has really become uncomfortably personal.”
PIERS MORGAN: “Has it? You said it, not me…”
That’s when Riley Gaines dropped the hammer.
RILEY GAINES: “If you think this is uncomfortably personal, try undressing in a locker room with a 6’4 naked man.”

🚨 BREAKING: Trans-identified male, Hadyn James Dollery, 19, was just convicted of threatening to go on a “murder spree” and cannibalize one of the victims at John Champe High School in Loudoun County, VA.
The thing that never happens just keeps on happening.
After his boyfriend broke up with him, he sent Discord messages threatening to kill his ex, both families, and students at the school. Investigators found a box cutter in his backpack and searches about blood. He faces up to 25 years in prison.
This is the same Loudoun County that previously covered up sexual assaults in girls’ bathrooms while pushing gender ideology. Schools keep prioritizing feelings and activism over basic child safety.

This is beyond the pale and Anna Cody should resign immediately. Are you paying attention yet, @AlboMP, @MRowlandMP? The SDA needs to be amended urgently to protect women, girls and babies from gender identity ideology.
Tonight, Sex Discrimination Commissioner Dr Anna Cody confirmed that biological men who induce lactation are protected under breastfeeding discrimination laws.
This is nothing more than State sanctioned perversion. A biological man cannot breast feed.
It’s time to end this madness and put the interests of children first.

Cutting off the healthy, functional body parts of children will accurately go down as the biggest medical scandal in history.
I long await the day society collectively agrees.
She is so concerned about the dignity of men who identify as women that she refuses to answer an elected senator’s question about the status of women-only organisations in Australia; implied disdain for the rest of us
Do “woman” and “women-only” include men who claim to be women under Australian law?
A straightforward question. An extraordinary amount of evasion from Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody.
Women deserve clear answers – and spaces of our own.

Yep… @Mark_Butler_MP speak up! Be a leader in @AustralianLabor . Show them all how it’s done. “Gender self ID has been a social engineering project that the public never asked for. Gender ideology is a political religion that must be eradicated from all health policy”.

Definition from @grok of 'physiologic autogynephelia.' The Australian government protects this male perversion and abuse of babies.
"Physiologic autogynephilia is a recognized form of sexual fetish in which some men become erotically aroused by the fantasy or act of themselves performing female bodily functions—especially lactating and breastfeeding.
Clinical descriptions note men who masturbate to the idea of producing milk or nursing, and some pursue hormone regimens and drugs specifically to induce lactation so they can experience that function.
Self-reports in the literature describe the sensation of a baby nursing as intensely sexual or “electric.” The infant is, in effect, used as a prop for the man’s arousal. This is not bonding or “affirmation” in the ordinary sense; it is a paraphilic interest centered on the eroticization of female reproductive physiology. The men involved remain male."
Albanese Govt appointments have built a wall against reality that means Australia still has long way back to biological sanity.

You have got to be kidding.
No wonder the bureaucrats want to make clipping videos of Senate estimates illegal.
They waste our money on consultants to spin BS at us, and still look like overpaid, secretive clowns...
Sack them all.
More proof that gender ideology rests on narcissism and misogyny. Wives of men who transition report that they are never affirmed

When you deny a child their natural puberty you are breaching their human rights and committing child abuse.
Gender affirmative care for children is no more than child abuse wrapped up in fake kindness.

The position of the Sex Discrimination Commissioner should not come as a surprise and in fact is the only position that she can take in order to try be consistent and coherent to herself and others given her overarching views and opinions.
We must understand that the position she expressed is the only position one can organically arrive at, if one - as she does- a) conflates sex and gender identity b) disregards the material reality of women in favor of women being a feeling or an identity. c) disregards that certain reproductive processes are tied to being of a certain sex.
I have genuinely tried to understand this position and to debate it with her to no avail. There is one point where we fundamentally differ and that I think underpins her positions on this: Commissioner Cody believes that if we were to recognize that women and girls have historically been discriminated against based on their sex (intersecting with other grounds), that would mean that we accept that that this discrimination is biologically determined and that this discrimination is acceptable or justified.
This reasoning is flawed. We would not follow the same logic with any other form of discrimination, say for example racial discrimination. Naming that black people are often and have been often discriminated against because they are black does not suggest that such discrimination is justified, nor a tacit acceptance of it, nor does it suggest that they should be forever locked in a condition of being racially discriminated against.
The answer to a serious problem cannot be to stop naming the cause, in the hope that this cause would magically go away or that its impact on the lives of people would soften or vanish.
Sex Discrimination Commissioner Anna Cody at Senate estimates said that protections designed to protect breastfeeding women from being discriminated against would also extend to “induced lactation in a biological male”. Read the full story: bit.ly/4zb29gC
If only TAS MPs would read this
“For trans-identifying children this will be a slow-motion disaster. Their parents are the only people who stand between them and ideas that at best seriously interrupt their normal psychological and social development and at worst put them on the path to irreversible physical harm and lifelong medicalisation.”
@HJoyceGender has written an excellent new piece on the draft Conversion Practices Bill.

Good to know someone is being honest about the lies gender-affirming surgeons are telling. Poor kids who consent to surgery have an incredibly high rate of 2ndary surgery bc so often it just does not work.
If you only have 3 minutes to watch Joe Rogan’s podcast today, this is the 3 minutes you need to see.
Jordan Peterson just described “gender-affirming care” in a way no one else would dare.
“I've never seen anything worse than what's happening right now. And that includes the sorts of things that were done in the camps in Germany. At least the goddamn Naz*s admitted what they did was wrong. They tried to hide it. We trumpet it as a moral virtue.”
“These surgical procedures are so brutal and so experimental that they're—I'm going to say it again—they're worse than what the Mengele types did in the concentration camps in the thirties and forties. And that's a pretty goddamn low bar.”

The American left trained me for a generation to be a political activist and operative.
They absolutely LOVED me when I was on their side because I was EFFECTIVE. 30 years of experience and training, plus being an attorney? The American left loved it.
Now they want to vilify me because not only did I walk away from the Democratic Party, I walked away from trans.
I used to be their golden child. Now I’m their ultimate apostate.
When I speak about the American left and Democratic Party being corrupt and infiltrated by trans, I’m speaking from experience. I’m speaking because I was sitting in those meetings and rooms living it and watching it become captured.
I didn’t just read about politics on the internet either. I graduated from college with honors with a degree in political science.
I’m well read with a generation of real life political experience. You can attack and defame me all day, but I will be taking my time, training, talents, and energy elsewhere.
I will be taking all of that and fighting the very thing that took a generation of my young life.
They want to silence me so badly 🤣
Unless we stand up and defend biological reality we cannot save the planet. We must protect the most vulnerable Australians, and they are not grown men but newborns.

What you call the GC movement hasn’t ever been a monolith, but a loose collection of separate political movements and individuals, some of whom have literally nothing in common but the belief that sex is real and matters. This has been both blessing and curse.
On the positive side, real, lasting solidarity has been forged between women in different political parties who’ve worked collaboratively to fight back against the massive assault on their rights. On the negative, left-wing feminists are being lumped together with people whose attitude towards gender expression is as regressive as that of hardened trans activists (‘if you want to wear lipstick and a dress, you’re a woman’/‘dresses and lipstick are only for women’).
I will say this, though. Many, many women who wouldn’t have thought twice ten years ago about asking for help from a gorgeous young man in lipstick working at the MAC counter have now been on the receiving end of so much aggression and so many direct threats from men in lipstick that they’ve developed a conditioned response, an instinctive wariness, where formerly there was complete indifference.
I’ve experienced this personally. I was approached in the street by a pink-haired young man with what I’ll call very exuberant dress sense and my adrenaline shot through the roof. For a second I thought, ‘this is where I finally get punched.’ And he couldn’t have been sweeter, wanted to talk Harry Potter and get a selfie.
Ten years ago my immediate response to somebody with his style would have been purely appreciative, but no longer, sadly, and the change in me, and in a lot of other women, has been brought on by a tsunami of threats and rage, not because we think there’s anything innately wrong with men wearing make up.
