Hmm? Announcing doing away with PIP on the same day parliament debates assisted dying? Do I see a theme?

Please remember if you are a claimant:
This government is on the way out.
Nothing is to change with your benefits.
Disabilty is expensive. If you are on PIP, you deserve it.
Being on benefits is nothing to be ashamed of.
We all thrive in supporting one another.

Dear Mel Stride,
PIP has nothing to do with employment.
PIP is for moderate to severe disability and is v difficult to qualify for.
Noone gets PIP 'for' depression or anxiety. It is based on a functional analysis.
Stop playing smoke and mirrors with people's lives.

Despite their obsession with getting Disabled people in work (even if we aren't able to), the disability employment gap has NOT decreased, and the disability wage gap has INCREASED #CRDP24 disabilitynewsservice.com/go…

UN rapporteur Laverne Jacobs highlights that the UK government's benefits assessments process has led to around 600 deaths in the last 3 years #CRPD24
What answer does the government have to that?

Today @Libby_Dancing & I are off to deliver our @phab_charity Access Consultancy & Training Services Disability Equality course for @ChilternsAONB as part of the drive to make the Chiltern Hills open to all. Big things planned so watch this space 👍

Dear @BBCLondonNews . There is no such thing as Registered Disabled. The government ended registering disabled people over 4 decades ago.
Very important when covering stories about disabled people.
Thanks 👍

We’re at the start of our journey to see how we can make Woodoaks Farm a place everyone can access. It’s going to take time, but with the help of @MikScarlet of @phab_charity & @Libby_Dancing, aided by @ChilternsAONB & @DefraGovUK we are going to do our darnedest to get there!
Taking a moment from working to enjoy the wonder.
A great day at @FarmWoodoaks making plans around access as @phab_charity Access Consultancy & Training Services get out into the wilds. Thanks to @ChilternsAONB for being so passionate about access, & to Sue & Gary too!👍

When I saw Christina Applegate getting a standing ovation for getting up on stage, it reminds me how inspiration porn is still alive and well. Disabled people are seen as inspirations for existing but if we ask for equal access, we’re a burden. We’re not here to inspire you.

Today I am finalising the @phab_charity #DisabiltyEquality #Training package with the amazing @Libby_Dancing . It's going to be an industry leader with everything needed to begin the journey to inclusive practice.
Then our specialist courses & lived experience sessions kick in!

Spent this afternoon with @Libby_Dancing planning for @phab_charity access consultancy & training services ready to launch next year.
Shocking to learn how a disabled person who is 24 goes through the same crap that I did when I was young. I'm 58 ffs. We must make things better!

A disabled activist has launched a legal attempt to force the government to carry out a fresh consultation on its plans to tighten the work capability assessment, which she believes will force many disabled people into poverty, or even destitution.

For the record, I don’t give you permission to ask questions, as and when you have a misguided or ableist assumption about disability.
I ask you to ask yourself why you have come to that assumption and educate yourself.
You aren’t a child, your curiosity is not my concern.

friendly reminder to everybody including the BBC that the reason almost everybody who goes for a private adhd assessment comes away with a diagnosis is that you probably wouldn’t bother paying £500+ for an assessment for something you weren’t pretty certain you had
