I’m not on here very often now, but I just had to come and rave about The Vulpine by Polly Crosby! I picked it up this morning and have ripped through 100 pages. Can’t wait to finish it! Already fairly sure I’m going to buy a set for tutor reads. #BookTwitter #Literacy #library

Glorious Exploits by Ferdia Lennon! Honestly cannot recommend this enough.

My small suggestion to SLT is that if you ever feel like arranging a trip for an entire year group on the last full day of term, then don’t? Ta. X

So I hoofed my way through The Invasion by @TheCallYA within 48 hours of owning it! Just in time, too, as all the gorgeous new books I ordered for the library last week arrived. Making a start on what promises to be a delectable read by @hafsahfaizal - A Tempest of Tea!

So I’m on page 153 of The Call by Peadar O’Guillan - @TheCallYA - and I don’t think I’ve actually taken a breath since I started. Even Eddie the cat is cowering in terror (or being annoyed that I’m disturbing his sleep, one or the other). Help!

Finally, FINALLY, getting around to Fallout by @WelshDragonParr - just under halfway through and I already know it’s a ‘finish in one sitting’ book! How do you make them so consistently unputdownable? ❤️

Our school only opened in 2019 and I started the library from scratch, so I’ve not had to do lots of weeding yet. But this week has been my first big weed since I started, and there is MUCH excitement amongst students about how I’m getting rid of the withdrawn stock🥰 #libraries

Listen. Sometimes you don’t have a Withdrawn stamp, so you just have to go with what you’ve got because you’re a mature, professional who takes their library work incredibly seriously.
