We read The Great Eggscape by @IamJoryJohn this week in library, and while we were reading my eggs must have egg-scaped from their basket! It’s a good thing we had Botley robots to help us get them all back to the basket! @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD

Coding, robotics, and art merged in the Library for 3rd grade @MitchellMavs! Check out this robotic self portrait!! We LOVE our new @SpheroEdu Minis from our @GtownEdFound grant! @GeorgetownISD

We are having so much fun coding with our new robots! Thank you, @gisdedfound for the grant that allowed us this awesome learning opportunity! #futurecoders @GeorgetownISD

We aren’t letting distance keep us from sharing book fair this year with ALL of our students! Look at Mrs. Gallardo including her virtual students in our Winter Wonderland Book Fair through a zoom tour! 💙 @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD

Wishing all our Mitchell “Turkeys” and their families a very happy Thanksgiving!!

These hardworking students earned their Starbooks hot chocolate delivery today for reading 4 of the San Gabriel River Reader books! #readingreapsrewards #proudlibrarian @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD

When you are SO excited about the library read aloud using the Novel Effects app, that you just have to try it yourself! #growingreaders #librarytime @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD

We read “Carl and the Meaning of Life” today in the library and made story worms for retelling! My kindergarten friend told me that the best part of story worms is that they make good pointers, good bookmarks, AND good reading buddies! @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD

So lucky to have author Heather L. Montgomery come talk to our 1st/2nd students at Mitchell today! We loved her book Bugs Don’t Hug! @MitchellMavs @GeorgetownISD
