My article on left-right partnerships was important personally because it was my first article on broader trends, which is a weaker suit of mine. Six months later, here's my second such article. A relatively smaller piece this time. Do give it a read. Feedback is always welcome.

I'm looking for a role with an IPL side for the 2027 cycle, from the auction through to the end of the season. I'm a dual-degree student at IIT Kharagpur (CGPA 9.3).
For the past two and a half years I've built cricket analytics alongside my coursework, and I've worked with teams in the Abu Dhabi T10 and the Kerala Cricket League. My goal is to help teams apply data to answer tough questions especially in the strategy aspect of the game and give them an edge.
I’ve also built three tools of my own:
• DeepCrease, which evaluates players in the context they actually played in.
• IPL Trade Values, which prices a trade on player value, replacement options and money.
• WagonLens, which predicts where a batter will hit the ball for a given bowler, delivery and match situation.
I would love to talk in detail about my work, share my CV, or speak to you personally.
If you have or know about any IPL/other opportunities or would like to speak with me, please DM me or email me at [email protected].
Even a repost would mean a lot.

🚨 The Cordon is live!
I am so thrilled to announce that our new magazine, The Cordon, is now live. Through this, @TarutrMalhotra and I are trying to create a space for deep, immersive cricket writing.
This essay is me talking to you, telling you a story about how we arrived at this point.
Our first story drops on 15th November. It's a gorgeous piece, and we can't wait to share it with you.

The safety of women in the country, whether in sports or otherwise, is a known challenge for authorities, and something even our PMs have repeatedly acknowledged. So any Indian who is in disagreement with premise of this article is a straight up liar, and a part of the problem.
Several new stadiums are emerging in different cities in India, but how safe are they really for women travelling to and from late-night games?
@swaris16 looks at a subject that rarely gets the attention it deserves.

I often hear Pakistan fans call their first and only T20WC win over India in 2021 as one of the worst things to have happened to their cricket team. Could this be even worst than that?!
Congratulations to our boys on a superb four-wicket victory over India in the opening clash of the Hong Kong Sixes 2026! It was a good game of cricket
I also commend Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi @MohsinnaqviC42 and his team for their dedicated efforts in preparing and supporting our players.
.@DeafMango what are your thoughts on this? It just might be worthy of a write-up or a podcast I suppose.

I am seeing posts from American baseball fans about India's 41 Olympic medals in history to demean cricket, and Indians, too. While they got numbers right, they conveniently didn't mention why, and it makes them ignorant, as the world says, plus it also sounds inherently racist.

Honestly, this whole Baseball vs Cricket debate about which sport is harder is hilarious viewing.
Watching two countries mark their territory and fight for a sport they know, against a sport they know nothing about… priceless.
BUT, if you’re curious about my thoughts, here they are.
What sport is harder? Neither. And both. 🧵
