“…it’s concerning that her highness’ kingdom warred with Lucerna almost an age ago. Prophecies mention the ‘Mistress of the Flame’. Freaky-“

“I’m sorry that happened from such an ass.” Grayson. “I mean uhh…an arrogant ponce.” Better.

Drawing his blade. “Sylvania will be free.”

He’s got wings…dragon wings. …unfortunately he can’t lie if he’s stressed, it just shows through his blood.

“I was simply curious how deep your current resentment went…but you know the gap will draw more evil.”

“…why are you so determined to prove yourself all the time? If you end him, then what?”

“…I’m not letting you get yourself killed, and clearly you’re not compromising…so I’m coming with you.” Grayson replies very matter-of-factly.

“Then what do you feel right now, hm? Right this very second without context.” The Prince asks, ears flickering with flame.

“Because it is not the way you are deep down…once you’ve crossed that line, it becomes so hard to stop. Killing the Eggman won’t make you feel better.” Ignoring that ‘protector’ jab for now. He accidentally ended his own mother after all.

…Tails sounds like he needs a hug.

“That’s not the Lucernan way, Miles…” Grayson spoke, a hand on his undrawn blade. He didn’t want a fight. “…this isn’t you, I want my brother back.”

“Miles, please just take a breath and listen…we can’t be judge, jury & executioner.” He spoke, his dragon genes showing from the overflowing negative aura emanating from Miles. His wings flap, a hefty breath coming from the dragon-kitsune.

“Wasn’t gonna, so don’t worry. Now, how’s your fire magic coming along?” He smiles, picking Tails up with ease.

“Yup, that’s what I’ve been telling him Lil’ guy.” Grayson sighs. “He means well, though.”
