All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

It's oddly karmic that, for a character they try/tried so desperately hard to make "happen", Harley has as many (if not more) cancelled, discontinued or flopped projects - both comic and adaptation - as most other DC characters COMBINED.

โTell me.โ
โA Superman Adaptation.โ
โWe can do a Superman Adaptation.โ
โA real Superman Adaptation, no deconstruction, no distaste for secret identitiesโ
โIโll make you a very traditional Superman Adaptation. No unnecessary deconstruction-

The stop-motion animation work behind LAIKAโs WILDWOOD (2026) is absolutely insane.
136 handcrafted sets, over 200 practical puppets and 49 animators working across 231 weeks, with some shots producing just 1โ4 seconds of animation per week.
