Replying to @vonderleyen
@vonderleyen @eucopresident @kajakallas You need to know who you're so-called "reliable partner" really is.
I’m making a video about the multiple Azerbaijani soldiers who’ve hurt or killed Armenians and then returned to AZ as heroes, and apparently, Huseyn Akhundov, who killed an Armenian in Syunik in 2023 and was handed to AZ months later, has made a YouTube channel

Pashinoglu should be shipped to azerbaijan to serve his azeri people.
Pashinyan proposes territorial swaps and abandonment of claims as Azerbaijan presses demands --- YEREVAN— Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on October 14 proposed exchanging territory with Azerbaijan to eliminate enclaves and exclaves, while calling on both countries to abandon historical claims, raising fresh concerns over the concessions Yerevan is prepared to make in pursuit of peace. In a video address, Pashinyan said border delimitation should follow the Alma-Ata Declaration and reaffirmed Armenia’s territory as 29,743 square kilometres. “There should be no enclaves or exclaves on either side of the border,” he declared, proposing swaps of equivalent areas. He also called for reopening regional transport routes, both under the TRIPP initiative and beyond it, allowing Armenia and Azerbaijan to establish transit connections through each other’s territories. More controversially, Pashinyan urged both sides to abandon mutual claims, naming Artsakh, Gardman, Shirvan, Nakhichevan and Baku’s so-called “Western Azerbaijan” narrative. He offered no explanation of how such a policy would affect displaced Artsakh Armenians’ right of return or longstanding Armenian claims concerning Artsakh. Pashinyan said discussions with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Turkmenistan left him believing his vision could be realized. Yet the proposal comes as Baku continues to demand changes to Armenia’s Constitution as a condition for signing a peace agreement. Although Yerevan insists its Constitution contains no territorial claims, Pashinyan’s government is drafting a new Constitution that would omit its reference to Armenia’s Declaration of Independence. His ruling Civil Contract party discussed the draft on October 13, but no referendum date has been announced. With Azerbaijan continuing to dictate key conditions, Pashinyan has yet to explain what concrete commitments Armenia would secure in exchange, or how the rights of displaced Artsakh Armenians would be protected. Under Armenia’s Constitution, changes to the country’s territory require a referendum.

🇨🇭 Switzerland: Lawmakers challenge government's evasion on Nagorno Karabakh Peace Forum Swiss parliamentarians are challenging the Federal Council's refusal to fulfill a binding legislative mandate to organize an international peace forum for #NagornoKarabakh / Artsakh. Following a motion by the Swiss Parliament, the @SwissGov was directed to offer a diplomatic platform bringing together representatives from Azerbaijan and the displaced population of Artsakh. Despite this clear democratic mandate, the Swiss government has attempted to evade its responsibility, prompting sharp pushback from lawmakers demanding democratic accountability. This week, @ignaziocassis, Swiss foreign minister and Chairman-in-Office of the @OSCE, is visiting #Armenia. Tomorrow, the Swiss delegation will meet the Prime Minister of Armenia, @NikolPashinyan. CSI firmly endorses the Swiss lawmakers' push, reiterating that true, lasting regional peace can never be built on ethnic cleansing, political hostage-taking, or the permanent exclusion of an indigenous population. 🇪🇺 European Parliament: New resolution demands release of all hostages in Baku ⚖️ The @Europarl_EN on October 8 reiterated its longstanding demand for Azerbaijan to free political prisoners, who include the leadership and common citizens of the ethnically cleansed #NagornoKarabakh / Artsakh. It echoes a March 2025 resolution dedicated to the case of the Armenian hostages titled, ‘Unlawful detention and sham trials of Armenian hostages, including high-ranking political representatives from Nagorno-Karabakh, by Azerbaijan’. That resolution made clear the European body’s view that prisoners from #Armenia were being subjected to “sham trials” and should be released. Thursday’s resolution, which highlights the cases of two prominent Azerbaijani political prisoners, Ali Karimli and Anar Mammadli, also highlighted the ongoing illegal detention of Armenian prisoners. It calls for the “unconditional release” of Azerbaijan’s political prisoners and highlights recent alarming reports from @hrw and @amnesty flagging a “deterioration” in Azerbaijani prison conditions, ranging from a lack of ventilation to dehydration. The resolution further condemns transnational repression against Azerbaijan’s critics abroad and calls on #EU member states to treat any extradition requests from Baku with “rigorous scrutiny”. Christian Solidarity International welcomes this latest resolution. It provides vital institutional recognition that Armenian prisoners fall squarely within the scope of Azerbaijan’s widening political crackdown, which spares neither Armenians struggling for self-determination nor Azerbaijanis critical of their own government. 58% of anti-Christian harassment in #Jerusalem's Old City disproportionately targeted the Armenian Quarter. #Christians #ArmenianChurch
BREAKING: Alarming record-high 58% of anti-Christian harassment in Jerusalem's Old City disproportionately targeted the Armenian Quarter. In its latest quarterly report (Q3), Incidents Against Christians in Israel, the Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC) revealed that 45 out of the 77 incidents in Jerusalem's Old City between July and September 2026 occurred on Armenian Patriarchate Street, in the heart of the Armenian Quarter. The documented harassment includes throwing objects, physical assault, verbal abuse, spitting, threats, defacement of signage, and vandalism. Among the most disturbing incidents was the pepper-spraying of a 9-year-old Armenian boy by a 22-year-old Israeli Jewish settler in Mamilla, outside Jerusalem's Old City. During the third quarter of 2026 (Q3), 35 police complaints were filed, most supported by photographic and/or video evidence identifying the crime and suspects. By comparison, 12 police cases were opened during the previous quarter (Q2), 10 of which were subsequently closed. In conclusion, the RFDC report draws particular attention to the Armenian community's vulnerability: "Thousands of people walk through its streets on their way to the Western Wall, and it has the highest number of documented incidents of harassment. Regrettably, the [Armenian] community has received no specific attention, response, or action plan to put an end to its suffering." The Armenian community of Jerusalem traces its origins to the 4th century, maintaining an uninterrupted presence in the Holy Land for 1,700 years. Today, the community numbers approximately 2,000 Jerusalemite Armenians, a population that has dramatically declined since 1948. Founded in 2023 by Israeli activist and interfaith scholar Yisca Harani, the Religious Freedom Data Center (RFDC) is an Israeli watchdog organization that monitors and archives anti-Christian attacks in Israel.

Dear @RobertKennedyJr do you remember this? Do you still remember #Artsakh? Why is Trump administration not enforcing section 907?
After the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, the Azeri regime is still holding onto the civilian political leadership of Artsakh: its prior presidents, ministers, and parliament members, as well as dozens of others as hostages to coerce further territorial concessions from Armenia. The regime threatens to invade Armenia if they don't cede several towns and villages inside Armenia's territorial boundaries. Today, Azerbaijani bulldozers are destroying what remains of Armenian heritage in Artsakh. If left without international support, the Armenian Genocide of 1915 will be finalized in the coming weeks and months. We must act now to hold Azerbaijan accountable by calling for the release of the hostages and enforcing sanctions until a safe and viable path for the return of the indigenous Armenians to Artsakh is achieved. Though today we commemorate the 109th anniversary of the beginning of the Armenian Genocide, the plight of the Armenians is not over – and we must recommit ourselves to end the ethnic cleansing and defend Armenians’ right to self-determination.

It's been 3 years since Azerbaijan ethnically cleansed Artsakh of its Armenian Christian population. Now it is destroying their churches and trying to strip the surviving ones of their Armenian identity. The pattern began in Nakhchivan. Researcher Argam Ayvazyan documented 89 Armenian churches and 5,840 carved cross-stones there before their destruction. A later satellite investigation confirmed the destruction of 108 out of 110 Armenian churches, monasteries and cemeteries it identified. In Artsakh, churches including Kanach Zham in Shushi and the Holy Mother of God Church in Stepanakert have been demolished. Azerbaijani officials now claim surviving Armenian heritage sites are “Caucasian Albanian,” a revisionist claim widely rejected by historians and heritage experts. Destroy the churches that can be destroyed. Rename the ones still standing. That is how Ilham Aliyev’s government attempts to erase  Christianity while advertising Azerbaijan as a place of religious tolerance and boasting of its close partnership with Israel.

Pray for all Armenian men who fell to defend Artsakh and Armenia. These soldiers are the modern martyrs for Christianity against anti-Christian Azerbaijan 🙏🏼 All of them are heroes and may the world never forget their sacrifice Armenia has my full support from Greece 🇬🇷🇦🇲
A very sad day for Armenia and when I walked myself through Yerablur I was reminded that the Armenian genocide is still ongoing. As a Greek it’s also reminder that we have to be careful with our neighbours. Some Greeks forgot the genocides and want to work with Turkey now.
